I feel so jealous of the people who didn’t like or connect with this drama. I am happy for you for not having been through these emotions constantly in real life. The weight of pity for the life you parents never lived, the guilt for all their sacrifices, the annoyance at them for making you feel all this and the guilt if being annoyed. The pressure to make it up to them knowing you can’t and the guilt of just wanting to move on and have a better life than they did. At least in the drama they were lucky their father adored their mother. Otherwise add to that the pain of knowing your mother was always lonely, never adored and loved as the passionate girl inside her deserved and carrying the weight of 3 generations of her family and not having anything of her own, always living for others. Mom you are so annoying 😢
THE best BL of 2024 if not ever. Great acting, chemistry, cinematography, ost, ... I wish they would release the behind the scenes like Kiseki (dear to me) because I would like to see the NC scene without the annoying cuts and loud BGM, I feel like it was such a waste of actors' great work...
Guys I don't know much Japanese, but since Sahara is older and their teacher, shouldn't they call him with some honorifics like Sahara sensei? Or at least Sahara San? why does Toki just call him Sahara? And worse, Todi calls him by just first name (Ichiro)

This is no typical BL; the acting, cinematography, ... is on top level. I am sooo happy that we are getting BLs with 30-40min episode lengths. I hope this gets the attention it deserves and paves the way for future series. Fun observation: On Ep 2 while Jae won was choosing a surfing suit for Ji Hyun , did y'all notice him passing on the ones that unzipped in the front and choosing the ones that needed help for putting on? :))
Guys after rewatching Ep 7 I think I have figured out who wrote to whom during the mailbox thing: * Jeong Ho , Seon Yul and Eun Chan wrote to Hyuk Jun ( Box 8) * Hyeon and Hyuk Jun wrote to Chang Min (Box 3) * Chan Gyu wrote to Jeong Ho (Box 1) *Chang Min wrote to Jeong Hyun (Box 5, 6 or 7. We saw it wasn't 8 so it wasn't Hyuk Jun. Since he said I want to date him "again" it was either HJ or JH) *Jeong Hyun wrote to box 4. So it wasn't Chang Min!!! I'm guessing Seon Yul. I just don't know how they are going to assign dates based on this since some got many applications while other got none. What do you all think?
Spoiler alert I'm gonna be stereotypical and shallow :)) One thing I learnt is that watching BL series made me think that pretty and cute boys were more popular among gays; maybe cause they are mostly written from a straight woman's POV who think men would like sth delicate and cute. But watching this show made me realize, even the more masculine guys were drawn to the tall and masculine ones. So on ep 1 I thought Chan Gyu and Jeong hyun would be popular but it was the opposite.
At first I was prejudiced against Jeong Ho because of his juicy SNS content. But now he is my favorite. He looks cool and confident but also cute and funny. I wish Chan Gyu had been more friendly and open when Jeong Ho tried talking to him while waiting for the calls. I felt kinda bad for him.
I was so happy when ChangMin called Jeong Hyun but then after receiving calls from Seon Yul and Hyuk Jun he said I'm confused and have mixed feelings. It overshadowed my happiness :)) Also, these repeated phone calls would only make sense if something happened in between days that could change their minds otherwise they would all end up repeatedly calling their first crush based on looks (AKA Chang Min) SO the production team really needs to create some situations for interaction. Doesn't need to be expensive dates, some simple conversations or games at home would work; hell the most effective interaction we saw was Changmin and Jeong Hyun just sitting at the table chatting. Or maybe they are interacting and it's a matter of editing that they are not giving us anything. Boring episode...

I really love this show and hope it can go on smoothly, hoping for a next season. I think there was room for some improvement: 1. the span of time spent together (8days) is so short for anything to develop naturally. 2. 4 episodes have past and we still don't know much about their personalities. Instead of all 1-1 dates it would be better to have some group activities as well to introduce casts more time efficiently. 3. the cast is not as diverse as I hoped. They are mostly either dancers or makeup artists. They should have included contestants who were academic/office workers/... as well.
