Yes. Agree. I think they cut drama short because it will be too long and budget. But still that part important was good. And it also talked about the history of Tianqi. Unfortunately the decided to skip that. They also cut part the plot of the medicine man (aka zombie) where it supposed to spread the whole city. Make the whole city become chaos, because when I watched I don't feel the chaos, it just by hearsay.

Agree. The last battle was supposed to be the grand battle between XS and LQY. I think as the story reaches the end, the fight scene was cut short or barely there. I think the may run out of budget.

I watched the first season of the anime. I think the drama is better. Especially the female lead, the female lead in anime is so annoying, and they try to make her cutesy role, the voice actor does not really help. Compare to drama, she is pretty immature in the earlier, but she has a heroine vibe on her. Actually the female lead role in the first arc was self inserted by the drama and the anime, as the novel, FL only show up after XS arrived in Xuenyue.
Edit: However, the storyline is similar, as the drama follows the anime, with some changes here and there, but all the characters in the drama are likable.

I think I agree with other comments. It's probably bad acting on her part. Or probably that's how her face is. I mean, even in her profile pic, she has the same expression. Lmao.
I think this will be a better story if they remove the story part where the GQF ghosted her without reason, and that the GQF father is the one who behind the ZPE family demises. It's cliches and unnecessary. I still do think that GQF needs to go away for period of time to establishes that those 3 women are able to take care of themselves and resolves their own problems without the help of GFQ and his position. And the reason may be like the emperor assign him an important duty that he must absolutely be focused on (as it is his job).
And also, rather that ChiPan is the one who suggested that they should work together, I would like to see that ZPE is the one who suggested it. As it will shows that she is independent and a businesswoman, and she will not back down even there's a hurdle. Because the story seems that they just give the women what they need, like CP suddenly helping (since the GQF is not there).
Basically they are many more approach to the story. I really like the beginning part but it went downhill after that. I still love it. But it could be better. And I wish it will be better, because the beginning was so good. Like it is completely different that other drama (for the beginning) but ... -_-
