Ngl kinda pissed they gave Vegas's kissing rule to Kinn. I need them to pick it up with VegasPete, wasn't it supposed to start after the kinn-Vegas showdown? But judging from ep 8 preview it's still not gonna happen, and probably won't happen until the Tawan fiasco ends. If they're going to rush their story in 5 episodes, i'd rather they don't do it at all.
Yes a lot of content is not equal to big but still a good amount of it does make it big, some become smash hits some moderarely big, just like KBLs. Again SEMANTIC ERROR definitely competed with mainstream dramas, it got reviews from people who never watched BLs, a marie claire news feature, was featured on an MBC show that introduces movies and dramas...so it was definitely reaching beyond the BL community. As for popularity stats, again 3rd most popular among ALL kdramas and it was literally the 2nd most watched online drama (only behind 2521), also first time ever a BL achieves No. 1 on the OTT content list. Also yes unfortunately one of the leads did enlist, but the other Park Jaechan is cashing on SE success, he's doing many magazine shoots, interviews, he ranked top 50 in male brand reputation. His group is also seeing major boost they went from selling 1,482 to 107,965 first-week album sales, their songs were clibing up charts...Not to mention the Webnovel sales were boosted by 576% and the Webtoon by 312%.
But really it actually isn't...Thailand literally produces the most BL content and a lot of it does make it big, Bad Buddy, Cutie Pie, Not me are some of the few that are huge so far in 2022 alone, some others are I Told Sunset About You, TharnType, Lovely writer, a tale of thousand stars, 2gether, UWMA...and about a billion other series, maybe you just don't keep up with the bl scene news. Also SEMANTIC ERROR was definitely more popular than some other maninstream korean shows, as i said it was #3 in populaity, it was more popular than "Business Proposal" and "Our Beloved Summer" and was close to "2521" (all of those are shows that were airing on both TV and Netflix), plus many other achievements so i'd say it was "worldshaking popular" . The light in your eyes IS NOT a BL, what are you talking about??
Not really what??? KinnPorsche is not the only content from Thailand to be liked either, I don't understand what you mean with the first sentence!! Anyways i just wanted to clarify the channel for SEMANTIC ERRROR doesn't have many followers but the show was still HUGE so the followers number doesn't matter. Followers number on social media accounts does not bring them money, the show being sold, people paying to watch it, endorsments, sponsorships...brings them money, and KinnPorsche is doing all of that. As long as the series is showing succes and generating money it doesn't matter if they have 5 folllowers .
The show on the official website it has GREAT views. For the rest of the content, their interviews and other videos make an average of 200K to 500K views which is the same amount as shows likeTharntype, Bad Buddy, SEMANTIC ERROR and other popular/viral shows' content.
And Be on Cloud's followers number has nothing to do with KinnPorsche's popularity, the show is not streaming on the channel so it's not neccessairy to susbscribe. Again if i were to compare let's take WATCHA yt channel which is SEMANTIC ERROR Distributor/channel as an example, they don't even have 200K followers, but SEMANTIC ERROR ranked #3 in popularity among all Korean TV shows, so again the followers are VERY irrelevant.
There are soo many related contents. Can someone help me which order should I watch them? I'd like to catch up…
Some people shared the order on twt, here it is: 1. High and Low: The Story of S.W.O.R.D (2015) (DRAMA, 10 episodes) 2. High and Low Season 2 (2016) (DRAMA, 10 episodes) 3. Road to High and Low (2016) (MOVIE) 4. High and Low The Movie (2016) (MOVIE) 5. High and Low: The Red Rain (2016) (MOVIE) 6. High and Low The Movie 2: End of The Sky (2019) (MOVIE) 7. High and Low The Movie 3: Final Mission (2017) (MOVIE) 8. High and Low The Worst Episode 0 (2019) (DRAMA, 6 episodes) 9.
