To me the movie and drama seemed like two very different contents. They just took a concept and went on two different roads with it. While the movie revolved around the MC's peculiar situation and how it affected them, the drama seemed to take the concept but kept it on the side-lines and built their story on the more generic rom-com situation. While the movie to me has a deep and impactful meaning, the drama was more of a light, feel-good watch.
