This show is additive for me each weeks i want to know/understand why i 'm always here . I know is slow, i know the plot is too mysterious, but i love the dialogues , connexion between Milk and Doctor. .. They flirting as never , it's never agressive or sexual( ok it's bizarre, why doctor need to shower his patient but why not .) The show take time never noisy for nothing or overdramatic , no need "gravity fall kiss" . It's just two people who talk and sharing their taste, fear,thought...
Maybe It's bad for most of traditionnel bl fan( who like traditionnels "ennemy to lover"," or love is no gender plot") but i like this "strange show"
So I would not agree with the detractors but I preferred in H4 the brother couple. We can debate rape / consent for millennia, but people you all forget about the subtext.
You've all skipped this couple, as they talk about love, coming out, social isolation, parental / social acceptance. It's still ironic, the moral and virtue police scream:" rape!" but do not talk about all the difficulties encountered by this couple. You are not talking about XJ's dilemes, traumas etc ... (obviously not bcs you have skipped).
I don't know how H4 romanticizes rape since he explores it. Rape is not to remain without consequence, so yes we can complain that it was not put forward enough but from there to talk about romanticism ...
