Do you think Jang Kang had lost its powers?

I mean look, he immediately vanished after he swapped souls and has not yet returned, he is doing nothing to stop alchemy of souls. How can nobody had seen him for so long? It all points towards Jang Kang has been nerfed. He lost his powers and could not return because of embarrassment and guilt.

The adventures begins. Opening theme, backstory, visuals, actors, its just overwhelming amazing. The fight on the water, the blind girl, her acting and pun is very good

What was this twist? How suddenly everything changes? Is it a side story? How long does it last? Till which episode?If it is a side story its all confusing they started a side story without explaining how it begun
