The Shengyi hating needs to be toned down a little. Even today with all the support and feminism, most abused women go back to their abusers. So just imagine a world with no social services, and a time when women thought of themselves as inferior from day one. The story would have been easier on the viewers if she chose better, but it would have been VERY far from realistic.

But why is it a lesbian issue and therefore excludes me? I see this as universal issue, as most good stories are. We all have traumas of some kind, and most women in this world have had to endure some form of sexual harassment, including me.
My problem isn't with viewers not liking it, my problem is with viewers systemicly downgrading only because something bad happened on screen that might have burst their bubble. Sometimes the world is a terrible place and our dramas reflect that.

I'm really mad at the immature, Generation Woke people who are downgrading this. What you are suggesting is censorship: if we don't show assault than it doesn't exist. That's not how this world works.
This drama clearly has a message about flawed people and the bad things they go through, it's not romanticising assault. So please, if you don't feel you can stay and watch, drop it and don't get vindictive just because you can't face anything that isn't sugar coated.
