Same things for me. It gave negative vibes to the drama release. What if those BL lovers will rate everything to 1.0 rating because they don't get what they expected? It pissed me off because this drama is NOT A BL FROM THE FIRST PLACE. And I am grateful for that because I love romance story between man and woman.

It's another case if the production team intentionally fool those BL lovers with a certain "promise" that lead to something else. But those "some ppl" were disappointed because of their wrong expectation of paparazzi tiktok and X leaked videos. Personally, I always check the official drama page or MDL or dramawiki to make sure what I saw in those leaked videos. You can't just guess the plot from reuters photos or leaked videos.

You know what if that type of comments happen in full length dramas with traffic popular actors actresses (with hardcore fans), I am not sure those people who said non sense because of their own wrong expectations can be out safely without being attacked.

Fortunately, there is no other ppl who said the same things about expecting BL drama. I guess they understood what I said. Plus MDL need to add the synopsis so people can read the story here. I want hot romance between DGZ and Hu Yi Yao. I expect for hot kissing scenes here 😍

This is from Legend of The Female General (Cheng Lei & Zhou Ye). I hope this drama will be come out soon. Just because of supporting actor scandal (Li Ming De), Cheng Lei ML full length drama got delayed.

But I can't stand how they filled this page with hatred comments about being disappointed bcs of their own wrong expectations. Don't ever try to drag Dai Gao Zheng dramas into their mess. Many actors from short dramas are good kissers. Dai Gao Zheng and Li Fei are also on fire when they kiss their female leads.

Basically it's a dumb mistake for expecting this drama to become a BL. They should check it to the official drama page or MDL to see the posters and tags. Yeah there is no synopsis here but we can tell it's a straight romance even from the poster.

Tbh this kind of comments of criticizing looks and age are very unrelated here. They looked mature because they are all 30+. Many ppl enjoy their performance and it's great. High school is not the focus here and it's just a phase/journey for becoming adults. Most of the series also take place when they are growing up as adults.

If this is a high school drama focus for most of the series, the production team definitely will pick another actresses and actors who have younger age than them like around 20s or 20+++.
