I meant the hints were so early and were so obvious for first jasmine cause it's historical but I didn't mind it here cause its xianxia

yeah in my humble opinion ,both of them didn't do it well , for example , in the first jasmine I hoped they delayed the pov of the ml and the others characters, and made us believe that her maid is a character and only showed her pov to trick the viewer only to show us later on that what they made us believe is wrong , and that we believed an unreliable fl , a trauma victim and psychotic fl but for this xianxia EF I really don't mind , I mean all xianxia's do this , while I watch xianxia Im already expecting the reincarnation , 2 or 3 past lives and unresolve matter etc ..

umm for me the first jasmine didn't really do it well cause we knew that something wrong happened to the fl , and that maybe she lived a trauma in that mountain so when they just kept delaying the revel I lost interest specially when everything happening is somewhat bc the fl is genius and smart and keeps plotting , also this is ofc my opinion but I hoped to see bai lu with another male lead , I didn't feel the chemistry between the two of them it's just the dynamics, don't get me wrong I love love cheng lei but I love him with a soft female lead and bai lu even if she acts as soft , her energy and aura are always strong

I want to know am I the only one who find it a bit boring don't get me wrong I was super excited for this show but I find myself watching in ×2 even though I binged watched the first episodes and I quite loved the cgi and the animation , the vibe it gave was so peaceful ,forest vibe or like anime vibe which I liked but now i just feel that it's lacking something, usually I keep watching bc of the plot OR bc of A CHARACTER or both here neither makes me wanna pursue Watching, and I wouldn't bother myself to write all of this nor question myself usually but these days I dropped or put on hold many shows i was excited to watch lately , for example the legend of rosy clouds , the first jasmine, generation to generation , pursuit of jade... and many more , so maybe its a me problem
