It was mentioned in one of the early episodes that the reason the brother was hiding the blueprints was so that the Sigma and Control Bureau will need TaeSul alive for the code. This was his way of protecting the brother. This means that the brother has all the important information about the uploader to make it work because he took it from the future.
Guys, I think the ending is a loop. Remember the brother? He has the original blueprints for the uploader. The main villain Sigma is still alive and obsessed with Tae sul. Not to mention Eddy Kim is still around.
Remember in one of the early scenes when Seo Hae runs into the brother who tells her that Tae Sul dies because of her? So I think he make the uploader again to save his brother, and thus, time is reset again and the stakes are maybe a little different but still the same.
The war will start again because of Sigma's/ Eddy's obsession. Seo Hae will travel again to save TaeSul who will once again have to make the choice between the world and the girl. Its a never ending loop because of how the characters are filled with selfish desires. Taesul for the girl, Sigma&Eddy Kim for status and worth, the brother for TaeSul. Seo Hae is the only only who seems concerned for the world tbh .
The ending plane scene signifies a dream that TaeSul has, because he so badly wanted to be with the girl. But the time will reset and he will have to do it over again.
So its a bitter sweet ending, because the characters will be reunited and will be making the same selfish choices over and over again.
