Definitely. A lot of people are attacking Allen Ren because of it. When in fact its what the director and the writer want the actors to portray. They should watch the Behind the scenes to see another side of Allen Ren and Bai Lu. They are so comfortable with each other and they laugh at those awkward scenes. They expect a lot of "western like kisses and bed scenes" that they dont understand the dept of ZSC character and nature. Its refreshing that they took a different trope for an M.L unlike those perfect prince charming which in real like is like finding a needle in a haystack.
