I am a really picky watcher but this series and only boo from gmmtv are really good. They are cute and such mood boosters. even the cringy stuff is tolerable and not too much

the relationship is almost established so i am wondering what will happen in the next 6 episodes. All the young new actors of gmmtv are killing it.

i am re-watching this materpiece after finishing the novel and I actually think some arcs got improved in the series but the novel's ending and big reveal are superior. But its understandable that they changed the ending. Still one of my absolute faves.

omg Pepzi is the director and Yuan is the producer for the show. Also it is adapted from a chinese novel and the cast is talented. I am so excited to find something to watch after unknown.

omg this is directed by pepzi so i hope the overall quality of the show would be better than what gmmtv usually provides. So excited for Mark taking the main lead in a show.

omg i see what u mean. It does feel like a japanese series. Its like we took a quick glance into their life without a clear explanation. I wish it was a bit longer and we can see into their future just a tiny bit but other than that i like the series.

I was confused watching it the first time so let me help you a tiny bit. Its a story about 2 step brothers(although the marriage between their parents didnt last long) and how they go through life. One (the older one huung) who had his parents rely on him completely to help out and provide for them. He suffers from it but he stays quiet and does not put himself first. And the second one (the always angry/ on the edge of losing it) suffers from an abusive dad that terrifies him. We can see throughout the series that the hyung is on the brink of being broke and that he is exhausted which makes him decide to confront his mother right after refusing to pay for his dad's meal and choosing instead to let the owner call the cops officially putting a stop to his suffering. While the younger one is smooching off of people and living without purpose which is frustrating for him. They both have strong feelings for each other and they care about one another. The problem is not their sexuality (the older one even said that he sleeps with men) but the dynamic that they have. The hyung wants a partner an equal not a leecher or someone that relies on him completely ( like his immature parents). Thats why he took a loan (still taking care of the younger one) and basically told him to go and do something with his life. The younger one understood and didnt get angry or feel rejected. He even said ill take it as a yes. There are other moments in between that garners a second watch to undertand the characters better (like the younger one always being protected by the hyung or the shoes scene..). And of course the ending where we can see that the baby is having his life together( cause he wants to be taken seriously by the hyung) and then the ✨️call✨️ that implies that this is just the beginning. i am bad at explaining but i hope this helps and feel free to ask about any moment from the show

omg i wanted more of them together. Everything happened so fast. I wanted them to talk more. Be with each other more. I dont think i can get over this relationship any time soon.

So predictable and cheesy in the best way possible. It feels very cute and an easy watch. This might be the series that will get me back to gmmtv shows after the masterpiece MSP

As someone who read the book the 4 years abroad is actually great for them both. Yuan will seperate from Qian and learn a thing or two about himself and he will mature and confirm his love and adoration for his ge. He will also live new experiences abroad and he will change for the better.

the FL in this story is one of my favorite leads ever. She is what kept me watching the series and what made it so enjoyable and amazing. So sad that it is only on HBO and not on youtube like most cdramas

It's on the second and third watch that you realize how brilliant the cast is especially Yoo Jae Myung. Amazing acting and an amazing plot. Truly will never get over this show.

an amazing series. Poor Dongshik he has suffered enough. He went through so much loss and pain. Really sad for him. The man couldnt catch a break since he was 20 years old. The inspector is really ignorant and self-centered. He always thinks he's right and does not take into consideration other people' advice.

I know that suicide does not work like that and that mental illness and trauma does not disapear with some words and a nice gesture but I loved this show. It was unrealistic and triggering but I loved and cried watching every episode. Do not watch it if you are triggered by self-harm , sexual assault, animal death and most importantly suicide.

I am on ep17 and its getting a little sadder than I expected. I still like this a lot although it has a slow pace. And I am in love with the leads.
