Here for all that and the music it was wonderful especially adding lyrics subtitles which is rare.

I thought the same also but I'm glad I finished it and you will be amazed at the full story.

I almost gave up by episode 10 and 11 but stuck it through and boy am I happy that I did.

I especially like that they added lyrics for the music not only was the music wonderful it was very nice to be able to see the lyrics.

I did not see any rape in the pilot it was simply someone down on their luck that had to hustle to support his family and then got embroiled in more drama

Mostly I'm just disappointed that they didn't show any intimacy between the gay couple. I didn't need to see and see scenes but at least some affection and sleeping together would have been nice.

Oh for sure

Realize the reality of China in 2000 was actually less restricted than I even now imagine how horrible it must be now and how much people must hide it or do their best to deny it because society tells them is dis gusting and evil. Also these kids are fresh out of high school I hardly knew anything about romance when I was out of high school and I'm in the USA.

Surprised China hasn't shut down Hong Kong from doing this like they have with their other freedoms
