Honestly, the plot has been okay so far. It's not like I'm mindblown by it nor it's like I'm disappointed in it. It's just an okay for me for now. I'm more eager to see the second couple cuz from the trailers and what we've seen so far, Sky is a guy who can stand up for himself and his friends and I love power bottoms more than innocent weak bottoms so... The Untamed literally has demonic cultivation and shit. It literally includes deaths of loved ones, huge misunderstandings, murders, revenge, etc etc. How do you call that light? And what is your definition of dark plot? Shows that include r*pe or su*c*de? Is that dark enough for your liking? As I already said it's TOTALLY FINE to not like The Untamed but just because your taste doesn't match with it or because your brain can't process heavy shit doesn't mean the show is bad.
And what do you expect ancient Chinese dramas to be like? Do you think they'll show some guys with bob cut and wearing torn jeans and tshirts and fighting with guns in an ancient drama?
And what do you mean by 'the show started out as heavily gay'? A guy saving another guy from dying? "Ooo so gay" If they weren't the cp then that scene could've easily be interpreted as a guy trying to save the other from falling off a damn cliff!
