It is an interesting story, and I can see why people are complaining --it is asking them to self reflect. The characters we don't like are only a social criticism of who we are now as a society. The irony is downright terrifying. Widespread corruption, fear, shame, violence, and it's all here. It is really a shame that this was not a movie, and that the quality isn't 100% I think this has the potential to become a classic as its lessons might haunt us. Needs a sequel or remake for sure.
Wow, I wasn't expecting to like this drama so much. I love that it has the two MLs, and the secondary cast is more of an ensemble rather than lacking depth. I also like that romance is not the main plot device, and is more casually supportive than usual. I am so impressed with the story dynamic, and I love that it isn't trying to make youth look easy.
I watched episode 6-10, more or less for Park Bo Gum, and haven't seen S1. So I really wasn't sure what to expect, and I don't usually watch anything like this. I really thought the father and son bird-watching was great TV. It was a unique addition to the story that I loved. The game of Mafia was pretty fun as well. Props to the shows editing for greying out those who died, and other cute effects throughout such as the cats talking. Also appreciated the commentary similar to descriptive audio or CC. I felt bad though when putting this into my dropped list, but it doesn't fit on any other list. I guess that's what it's for, so I hope that it doesn't reflect negatively for the MDL statistics.
Many here in the comments stating there are many red flags with Park Jae Eon and I'm not saying that they are…
It's probably that many viewers naturally felt sympathy for her at the very beginning. She is heartbroken over the art piece, cheating, and break up. That probably made it hard to cast any blame towards her later on. I agree that she made many bad decisions based on ep 1-2. Her infatuation turns to obsession shockingly fast. When she started stalking him l was thinking that she is just as terrible as him, and they probably deserve each other.
