is he a good person? does he have an important role or nah?

Can anyone tell me what's Gao Han's role here? Is he good at least cause every other male character seems to be terrible judging by the comments 😂(Just asking cause I love Gao Han)

2) Only like half of her co-stars have had an age gap with her and the ones that did still had amazing freaking chemistry with her like her and Yuning have already worked together and they're so beloved, they were even more beloved than the main couple on that show, and her and Yang Yang??? My absolute favorite CP of hers. But anyway THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH ACTORS HAVING AN AGE GAP, THEY'RE ACTORS, ALSO THEY'RE FREAKING ADULTS.

As for people complaining about him having a crush...first of all, who wouldn't? The girl was doing so much for him, always being there, supporting him, giving him gifts, fighting to break him off his depression and plus she's very cool, funny, sassy and generally amazing. Like, it's normal that he liked her, and giving what we know of his character, it fits that he couldn't say anything, not everyone can and if y'all think it's that simple then you must accept that not everyone is the same. Plus, she's clearly really important to him, it's always like this when you fall for a friend, they might bicker and pretend to not care for each other but they were clearly best friends, what if he told her and she didn't feel the same, he was afraid of losing her and people come on don't tell me that's not realistic, in the life that I live at least, it is. And second, no one says she wasn't in love either, it's usually like this, they're both in love, it's just someone realizes it first or someone is in denial for a longer time. If you don't like it fine, but it's one of the most famous and loved tropes in the world, friends to lovers and when it's done right, it works really well and it's beloved for a reason. (Plus especially here it doesn't seem like a cheap version, it's deeper than just a trope) their dynamic is so so good and it's so clear already by what we've seen of their history that these two should be together.

Please show continue this way, I haven't felt like this for a currently airing KDrama in a long time. It's all so nice, please don't screw it up!!!

I'm not sure anymore who's the worst of them all, I just know everyone always tries to grab money with stupid fast tracks, extra episodes and so on and on...the last years this has become so terrible...and I'd get it if this was some censored drama (for example I get why there was an extra episode in Word of Honor) but here? there was literally no reason, it just happened for money. Well, I watched it for free, I won't pay them money for 6 minutes lol

it's not even two endings, they just release some scenes as an extra episode so that people pay for it, because if they put it in the normal ep, some people will just wait they won't pay for the VIP or fast track, but an extra ep they will all pay for (or they think so at least lol)

So networks doing everything for money as always...the extra episode could very easily be part of the actual episode but nope, they had to release as an extra episode so that people pay for it lmao

And if anyone wants to come at me because clearly I can't be positive about this drama, let me tell you I don't care, I always see people being negative about dramas on MDL and when I watch them myself I really cannot tell why the heck they hate them so much.
For anyone who wants to start this, don't let the negativity put you off, you might love it like I do. MDL isn't a good place to tell you what is good, especially on Thai Dramas, they only love BLs.

I'm loving it. And honestly I don't even care if y'all don't, your loss. But there have to be positive comments too and I'm here to make one. I love it and I actually think they're doing a great job with everything, no essence is lost and no acting is bad. It's a great remake.

Third ep was very cute. I'm really loving this both as a remake and as a standalone. Thailand should make more heartwarming shows like this.

It's one of my favorite dramas too and I think he's doing great. As I said the actors of the other versions had people say they can't act too and his character is supposed to not show many emotions so I don't know what exactly you guys have been waiting for.

I mean I don't think he's not acting well, but I can see why someone who doesn't know his character could think he's not showing many emotions but like that's literallyyyyy the point. He's noft supposed to. But then he teases Som and he has the cutest smile escape and then you see how he actually is. He's doing exactly what he should be doing. Generally I also always liked Dew so whatever, people who don't like an actor should just stop watching their shows if all they're gonna do is complain about their bad acting.

Dew's acting is fine, y'all exaggerating. He's playing his character perfectly. Then again every single ML in every version of ALSB has had the same comments about his acting. Maybe it's the character and the fact you guys don't get that he's supposed to be emotionless/not show his emotions. Anyway, if you don't like his acting, just stop watching his shows, no one's forcing you.

As for the wig, bad or not, doesn't matter, it won't stay for long, it's just for like 1/5 of the series.

And because there have to be positive comments too and y'all are just obsessed with being negative about shows, this version so far is great, I love it, it's different yes, but very nice. There seems to be more focus on his character than in the other versions and as for her, she seems more mature than the other versions. (I love Xiao Xi and Sol-yi as well, but I still love that Som-o seems more mature). I hope they keep it going like that 'cause it will end up being a very unique remake.

Also for people who aren't familiar with the story and haven't watched past versions just wait because the story is a lot more than what it is right now.

AHHHHH IT WAS SO GOOD they look absolutely amazing together, the chemistry is amazing!!! And as someone who has watched both previous versions I'm so happy with how this looks, I recognized most of the scenes of the teaser immediately and it looks like a great remake!!!

She's a lead in a movie??? MY GIRL!!! Can't wait to see it, I hope for a drama as female lead next, it's about time!!

Well, I'm not talking for just the comments here...I'm talking about what I see generally, on twitter, tumblr, instagram, youtube etc I of course haven't watched every bl ever, but even in the last few months I have seen people defend with everything they have bls that had similar problems with 23.5 and even worse. Even here, I've had an experience with a specific show but I won't go into detail. Still, not the point tho. People have every right to criticize shows and to defend shows, but there is a problem in how men and bls get a pass easier than women and gls, of course this is gmmtv's first gl, but even other gls they were expected to do things most bls never did and they were criticized for things bl were praised for. Anyway, since 23.5 was the first gl it was never going to be flawless (i mean no show is but well) but of course I'm hoping each next one that comes can be better and fix things the previous ones didn't do well.

Thank you!!! The problem isn't the girls doing dumb things and being flawed, it's things any teenager out there could've done, I don't know if people forget how they were as teenagers or what but seriously you can't hate a 16yo girl for just being...a teen.
The problem is with the writing trying to put a hundred stories in 12 eps most of them being useless (don't get me wrong, some I love like the teachers but they have like 5 mins of screentime in the entire show so it's fine) or trying to handle topics that apparently they can't handle. They start storylines that feel so big and important only to handle them like they're nothing.

Seriously Ton and Mawin taking all the screentime in Aylin's scene pissed me off the most. Like wtf even I know this is gmmtv but they were doing relatively good so far but no they had to have the boys take the center once again, they always have to, it's like someone saw the girls having the most screentime for 9 eps and said no do something in ep10 to change that. Why do I care if Ton changed his club Istg why was this about him in the end. I'm so pissed off.

Anyway, the issues this show has aren't much different than the issues 99% of bls have out there so, so as much as people have the right to be disappointed, I don't like the double standarts because if this was a bl, most people would be like "stop being a hater, this is a masterpiece" and they'd try to defend it. I'm not saying we should defend the writers wrongs btw, I'm just saying what I've seen happen in the 3 years I've been watching ql thai shows and now that this is a gl it's somehow different. Just...food for thought.
