Tonhon Chonlatee is better entertaining and uplifting romantic comedy. The rating should have way higher than…
If only you asked me what one series that is statistically proven to be the most overrated up to date that I could name out on top of my head right away and I'm sure everyone agrees is no other than "2gether." ITSAY is popular because of the impact of the series: namely story and OSTs, not hype, there's a difference. International viewers can't access this series either for free at any legal sites at the time it was aired. I personally rented every single episode in Vimeo every single week to watch just because... it is that fucking GOOD. Remember this is Nadao production company, it is just known to be the one who puts forth quality, doesn't post on youtube on exact time it airs in Thailand complete with Eng Subs and the type who doesn't rake up so much view counts and popularity. It's only suiting to say the popularity is really earned, through talent and substance!

Also can we just appreciate how they wrote Tarn?? She is such a good character. She’s not some token girl, she’s…
And the confession scene at the finale episode is just too good. The girl is just so good, she's a human being that we can relate because of those peaks and valleys throughout the series, not some one-note fujoshi girl who is just so annoying, plain and serves an utter no purpose and contribution to the plot whatsoever.

This piece of art is just beyond amazing! No words! It redefines, deconstructs and reshapes OVERLY DONE BL-storyline into such an exquisite piece of work. This series itself has since set the bar unbelievably high and it just goes to show of how much passion is put into its making, quality over quantity. It puts forth all the umami ingredients needed for a great watching pleasure: story, characters' chemistry, a realistic yet impressive story arc for every side character, OST, acting (I just can't emphasize it enough on how natural Billkin is at internalizing the character and making "Teh" so one with himself and that voice is just otherworldly), director, cinematography and uh I could always keep on going to praise this.

It captures every facette of human emotions that we all can relate. Despite the difference in background and culture we are indeed experiencing the dynamics of life, its duality, the yin and the yang. It does not shy away from telling the journey of growth and finding yourself through choosing love over fear. The show really grounds all the audience with a narrative that we all share in common, which is just life itself. Showcasing the human tenacity in managing to go through tricky waters and sharp edges, especially on the topic of sexuality. That's what makes this even better than the genre itself (BL).

Also though, how could Nadao come up with such a compelling method of storytelling through visual art? Say it through utilizing color symbolism, portrayed paintings, hibiscus flower and name the rest. Just the attention to details alone stands out in the most profound of ways of conveying love and all other spectrum of feelings that are louder than spoken language.

Every scene is meticulously crafted that every time one rewatches it one finds another layer of epiphany that no dialogue could ever express. It's just that type of show that when one rewatches one finds another new deeper sentiment that kinda questions one's previous relative shallower insight (and by the way people that is what art should do to you!) and one couldn't help but to fall in love with it over and over again. This is such a larger than life masterpiece. This deserves every award there is because people just don't come across to this kind of show randomly, ever! This is a first in its genre and I thank Nadao for that. A total complete package!!!
