Let's just wait for IPYTM, hoping nothing but the best for it. Till then Hermine. It was great exchanging ideas with you!

No ill will or whatsoever to 2gether, the only thing I really did like was the songs from the illustrious band Scrubb. The songs are somehow reminiscent of past-life nuance in a good way. Did enjoy them even though I don't understand anything.

Thanks for your detailed take on my question. Kuno is really unparalleled. Having interest in the BL genre myself I sometimes get to find myself pitying every drama whose storyline is just so repetitive, to the point sometimes of frustratingly doubting their intention: is this really what they could do after all these years. Seeing Kuno's work, not only ITSAY in particular, just emphasizes the fact that there is no small part and small story, only small actors, acting directory and lack of imagination to execute the whole thing into such extreme that he displayed.

Playing with colors and the cinematography alone speak volume to the creativity and the lengths they went to create a magnificent story that does not breed but dissolve stereotypes. It rather exhibits representation of a layered and complex human experience/journey. This is the only way going forward I guess by showing a different perspective and interpretation through different lenses with purposeful substance to back all that up. Enough with the shallow lovey-dovey shtick because life's not that one-dimensional to only consist of coveted love story coming to fruition.

Just curious though about your opinion, what do you think is the difference between the directing style and vision of Boss (ITSAY) and Aof (he directed many series including ATOTS and 2gether to name a few) assuming that you have watched Aof's work also? Would love to hear you expound on the issue of "phenomenal director", what are his protruding qualities. Because Aof really is one of a few directors of LGBT background who kinda made the ball rolling the way it does now for GMMTV in terms of the BL-game. So I feel Aof really brought that authentic touch to his work, because in return all his work speaks to him in so many different levels. That's what I would sing his praises for albeit unrelated to the matter of question, but this should be appreciated of him. Just like the great Ryan Murphy, it is a joy to see someone making something that is really true to themselves in a way that I, who is a part of the LGBT-community, am proud of such legacy.

No perfection on ITSAY at all. The storyline is childish immature nauseating coming out storyline ever made.
@Mark Jaeger Jesus you lowlife SOB, just don't show up here without any REAL point of view to back up your infamous and unasked one-dimensional hatred. Live better, teach yourself, get some perspective and acquire some taste along the way and you're gonna rewatch the series to only come back here to self-correct your bigotry. I've had it with your nonsense!

Kudos to Boss Kuno. The documentaries showed that he didn't come to play. He meant business and it was just translated in every core and peripheral element of his work. This is just Perfection with a capital P.

Keyword here "pedestrian" should be written in red, bold, italic and underlined.

Regarding ATOTS: that's the problem with GMMTV imo I feel as though they've always been the OG pioneer of the BL-market as far as access and convenience are concerned, but they too always just lack commitment and distinguishable execution, in terms of really going and bringing it there all guns blazing (production, acting, etc). It's just not their main focus. Relative to all of their produced BLs ATOTS is really the standout: seriously, no high-school/engineering faculty theme finally, or at least if they would keep on doing this my only wish would be: elevate it now that you have a template to be inspired from, elevate it that your next show is gonna be "the talk of the town". Half-assing in this market would not do them sweet favor anymore with ITSAY having shown the world how it must've been done at the first place. Their brand in BL is apparently all about the face. They do leave this impression though to the audience and I admit they are all gorgeous men but at the end of the day, beauty fades without any real impactful substance to back all those impeccable actors up lookwise, i.e. the essence of storytelling which is the story and writing itself.

My heart just shattered when Teh asked “Would that be ok to have 2 male protagonists?”The pain in his voice…
Just love seeing your positive reviews. Your excitement and praise are just as high as mine. I'm really happy for everything they have achieved in terms of awards for the show and the whole team. Not to forget that Billkin himself has since been making his presence really felt on Thai music chart with all the OST songs. Close to none could do this, especially knowing that BL audience there is still not that widely spread compared to mainstream primetime TV Dramas and how exclusive the airing of this show was. Thai people do begin to watch the show just because of "Skyline". They really deserve the world. I admire this show SO much. I've never been enamored this hardcore by Thai-produced content. This is really how any series, not just BL-series, not LGBT-series, but Series should be made.

Billkin’s voice is so beautiful and so soulful...He reminds me of some of the great American pop/soul vocalists…
Every song he sings tingles every fibre of my being, gives you chills. "Talented" can't even begin to describe him.

I really wish I knew who gave it low ratings so i could explain to them wait they missed about the story..ahaha
Exactly. The audacity of these lowballers to even come here and rain on ITSAY's parade is just twisted. I'm just so deeply sorry though for their questionable taste...

Everything, and I mean every single detail, is well-thought. You could not say that there is even one filler scene whose purpose is to serve as a breather to prepare for the next one. If someone says there is they are missing the point. It's subtle though, you either get it or you don't and that is a real class act and taste. Rewatching it just astonishes me every single time.

This too yes, thanks to ITSAY as the main grand initiator to spice up the flavor and also to remind and challenge people out there in the BL industry to really step up their game, or else it would just be outrageously redundant to the extent that it's gonna hurt viewership and just not doing anything great for the prospect of the genre itself so to say. 2021 has been surprising though from Thailand, we had and have the pleasure to be able to watch "A Tale of Thousand Stars" (the best of GMMTV though imo) "Lovely Writer" and "Call It What You Want" (both refreshing storylines and also quite political and bold which I like).

Future series such as "KinnPorsche", action-packed plot with exciting chemistry judging from the trailer and of course the MVP "I Promised You The Moon", this one though with such a high expectation coming off fresh from that first season that was just godly good. But knowing Nadao Production House and their magic, I do believe they do have some tricks up their sleeves to captivate the audience in a way that only they can do it. You could check out other Nadao-produced series too, they are managed by a bigger production company called GDH, and GDH is the one who produces movies. There is just that unique point of view that they have when making these amazing pieces. Honorable mentions include "Bad Genius" both series and movies, "Project S Side by Side", "My Ambulance" (also features BKPP), and "In Family We Trust".

Who is this insanely happy and adorable couple?? Legit, there was too much crying in Part 1 and based on the MV,…
I don't see Oh Aew and Teh, I see Billkin and PP just doin' their own thang... Yo it's weird the more I watch them on the series I just see themselves even more. This drama is lowkey them irl honestly and I love that

You better rewatch it, I've been rewatching it since the new poster came out and just never get bored but rather smitten. There's just that element of authenticity between the characters and the leads. It felt somehow as if part of it were true to their own experience, in which I have read somewhere it is believed to be the case. All in all the impact is just so different from all others that I've watched (and I did watch tons and tons of others).

Might as well be the first southeast Asian-produced show to win EGOT. Its interpretation of a simple, seemingly dull human life is inexplicably warm, relatable and delightful. It's a joy to have this one in a million gem in time where new BL series/movies just seem to pop out every day in which most of them have no purpose to serve, no real material and message to deliver.

0.0 the script is that big?? But probably theyre bringing more side or extra casts and there is a lot of lines,…
Yes if I could upload the juxtaposed photos for reference I would... well more characters in IPYTM might explain why the script itself is thicker, but I do think it's gonna be somehow longer than the first one and the focus of the whole story just deepens even further around the leads.
On I Promised You the Moon Apr 20, 2021
This season can't surely only be 5 episodes knowing that Nadao uploaded photos of ceremonial events of both ITSAY and "I Promised You the Moon" where we could see a great difference of script thickness between the two seasons. The Part 2 script is 2.5 to 3 times thicker than ITSAY. My bet would be either they are still gonna release 5 episodes with movie-long duration per episode or there are gonna be surely more episodes (hope 10 or more). Lets see! But anyways just the poster alone sparks so much excitement I could not fathom...
