me too! I joined mydramalist bc I saw someone on twitter mention how the insane number of comments on the TLB discussion page, I love coming here everyday makes the wait for episodes so much more worthwhile. I'm really gonna miss this when the show ends ;'

righttt we need to protest for the missing episode/deleted content to be released as "bonus scenes", I'm still mad about the 4 deleted ELOD episodes

oh maybe I'm wrong but I just remember someone telling me she helped with the script and was listed among the screenwriting cast

same, i'm so desperate for those missing episodes, really hope there is a chance in the future they might be released or something. I hate HATE Chinese drama restrictions for forcing them to cut down, its so sad bc that was a really bad time for drama releases now they have loosened the regulations and are allowing 60+ episodes dramas to air again.

there is another character who likes DongHua but I don't really consider it a love triangle because she and the ML are never really together. She's more of an obstacle for the relationship because her presence causes the FengJiu to misunderstand some stuff.

that's true.... from their conversation it seems like they were in contact planning something before they reunited again... hopefully this is it

Tencent also hasn't done much promotion for The Long Ballad though, it was also a surprise release with the trailer/announcement dropping 12 hours before its release. Its only promo was a livestream and a Happy Camp episode that aired way before its release date. So it's mainly spreading by word of mouth currently, I hope it will continue to rise too.

I hope it gets the chance to broadcast on CCTV later, there are rumours it might but who knows. The Long Ballad is currently the best performing web drama currently airing (by over 10 points too) but recently there's a another drama that managed to top TLB on the datawin web+tv drama chart (at least today it did). It makes sense since its currently airing on two major networks but before the TLB was topping the datawin chart as well.

if the director gives us an open ending with no hint of a second season, he will not see the light of day

it's been consistently topping the Vlinkage and Datawins drama chart, pretty good considering that it's been competing against shows that are airing on major networks (CTTV and Hunan TV) broadcasting on TV gives dramas major exposure and increases views dramatically. Unfortunately, due to delays, The Long Ballad missed their spot to air on CCTV and is airing an small unknown channel but is still outperforming other shows currently airing.

read that dilireba would help him out during filming by pointing out details to him in Uyghur language (since he's like a new actor) so he could correct it in the next scene, I really love this cast
