there are so many negative comments I'm shocked, am I just a sucker for gay pining ? cause I'm really enjoying…
i don't get bad comments as well. i really enjoy this series. two main characters are so adorable. the drama is really sweet and nice to watch. it's my comfort drama, with this super soft and calming vibe:)
It's actually quite decent drama with a credible ending that matches to the story. I'd say it's a Twilight BL Korean version but with better characters and the plot. I really love the setting and the atmosphere. The acting - well, that depends on the scenes. I think Seo Bin was really cute in the drama and the last episode - he could show us something more than just a pretty face. As for Ji Woong, i think he could do better. For me it's 7/10. I'd rank this drama higher if it's not the length of the episodes. The story had a great potential but i didn't have much time to invest my emotions and attach to the characters. It was just too short and things were going too fast. I think it might have been better if the length of the episodes was about 20-30 minutes.
I feel bad for the actors tbh. This drama had got a potential but it was ruined by the script. It's way too much melodramatic and somehow - just stupid. Every single time the characters took one step ahead, suddenly they just back off to the start.
Firstly - Phap being insecure about Maze and Neung. Haven't we been already assured that they're step brothers? How can Phap be jealous about them? They're not gonna be in a relationship. Maze and Neung never shared any romantic scene in front of Phap so i just don't get it. It's stupid. He could just simply asked about it and things would be clarified. Or at least tell Maze how his feeling. Phap was so open about he's feelings to Maze and now what...? Unnecessary drama is needed...?
Secondly - Than being insecure about Maze and Neung. Why is he the one that doesn't know they're step brothers? Why can't he just talk to Neung? He's imagining things all the time and not even try to clarify them.
Thirdly - Maze making decisions for Phap without asking him how he's feeling about the whole thing with working abroad, pretending to know him so well. As someone noticed below in the comment section, Phap doesn't really seem to be into that kind of work and he's not really an ambitious person - Maze knows that. Why all of the sudden he wants to send him away for his own sake? And who gives him the right to decide for an adult man? He pushed Phap away in such a bad way. He hurt him a lot. If i were Phap, i'm not sure if i'd ever forgive him...
However, the main problem of this series is the lack of the communication between all of the leads. I could even bear it at the beginning but now it's way too much for me. Excluding all the things i wrote above, you're telling me that Maze haven't talk to Phap for almost 3 weeks, haven't even try to do it and then, suddenly, at the day of Phap's way-out to Japan he decided to stop him? It doesn't make any sense. He had got 3 whole weeks and did nothing at all and now what? Did he realize what he wants? Also - i can't believe that Phap didn't try to communicate with Maze as well. It's so not him. His personality changes through the series so drastically that i don't know what to think (from the cute and a little shabby artist to a mature guy knowing his value and being open with his feelings for his boss to an insecure person with childish behavior to the person that decided to run away than tell how he feels?).
I want the scriptwriters to understand that the drama isn't necessary to be boring when it's about love without complications. I'd better watch a series in which Maze and Phap clarified things in ep. 8 or 9 and live happily till the final episode. Now i don't even want to watch ep. 11. Maybe i change my mind till next friday...
Is it good to watch? should i watch it now or after all the episodes are aired?
it's really worth watching but it also depends on your preferences, i saw some people who don't like it because the romance is not the main part. if you decide to watch, i'll recommend you watch it now. waiting for another episode is killing us all cause we want to know more but it's completely different feeling when you're watching it when it airs than watching it at once. however, it's up to you.
What episode is Yok referring to during the scene where he sees the post of the old painting and asks “why did…
He's referring to the episode 2 and 3 of the series. In episode 2, the gang (including Yok) burned the Tawi's residence and that was the first time that Yok and Dan met. Yok saved Dan's life that time (that explains the person holding a torch in the painting). In episode 3, Yok was searching for Dan, came to the place he was painting and Dan found out about it - i think that's why he left the caption under his work on sns - "i might stop going out there to paint for a while since i'm being watched". I think he referred to Yok.
Does anyone know why it is such a big thing for them? I've seen the # on my twt but i don't understand the case.…
Thanks for explanation, now i got it. Though, i feel like the whole situation is ridiculous. If this drama didn't appear, i guess a lot of people wouldn't even know it was a fanfiction about some band. Like you said, no one's got hurt so i don't really see the problem there. For now, it may cause only emotional harm for those who worked hard on this adaptation:(
GOT7 fans wanna ban Not me because the book was based on a fanfic related to GOT7 artists. #banNotMe is trending…
Does anyone know why it is such a big thing for them? I've seen the # on my twt but i don't understand the case. Why they want the author and gmmtv to apologize?
the first episode was so good. it was definitely worth waiting. i like the characters, the plot, the music (no sounds effects, thank god!), the tension between all of the characters. i also love the locations they chose to shoot scenes, especially Black's house and the garage. it really makes a change and set the mood. i really can't wait to watch the next episode!
i've been waiting for 2 years so as to watch Vagabond because people were saying that there's gonna be season 2. after 2 years of waiting, i finally watched it because i couldn't wait any longer but still there no season 2. i really need to get a proper ending. i really need season 2.
For me he looks like a younger brother of Ji Chang Wook. Sometimes he also reminds me of New Thitipoom (especially when it comes to his eyes). I wish to see him more often on the screen :)
