I'm worried 'cause one recent newly aired BL Novel Adapted Drama (which is 'Word Of Honor') challenged the censorship way harder than they should have, which caused the Chinese Authorities to release a warning to all dramas of the same genre. And that they would stop processing all bl adapted drama for the time being if this happen more.
But then again, this was a filmed a long time ago so the CP of Shimei rumors won't probably happen. But this drama probably won't air in April nor July as China is celebrating CCP 100 years anniversary, so all dramas need to make ways for celebration themed programs in this time.
Why is one of the genres tagged 'Romance'??? Does this mean the couple's been changed to Shimei and Mo Ran/ Shimei and Chu Wanning? Not Mo Ran and Chu Wanning anymore? If that's so, i'm out. They should stay loyal to the true pairing in the novel instead of changing it.
I know about Chinese Censorship, if they can't be a couple in the drama they should at least change their relationship to teacher/discipline or whatever that can be close that indicates that they have a strong bond together! And to not pair them to other characters.
