<#TaxiDriver>’s Director regarding writer replacement:
Writer Lee Jihyun was put on the job at the end of november last year. Writer Lee Jihyun decided to take responsibility for the drama’s 2nd half after mutual agreement during a more or less uncomfortable production period. He explained that the writing process of the two writers is closer to division of work than replacement. The two wrote the script for different episodes at the same time. When Writer Oh Sangho was working on Eps 5-10, Writer Lee Jihyun worked on eps 11-14 at the same time. Writer Oh Sangho was in charge up to Episode 10, meanwhile Writer Lee Jihyun is in charge of Episode 11 until 16.
During the writing period, the work of both writers were discussed early so there’s no such thing as urgent changes in the story’s outline. In addition, in the case of ‘#TaxiDriver’, it’s organized by episode-by-episode format so a division in writing doesn’t have a big effect on the completeness of the work.
Have anyone read the comic? I read someone said on twitter that mr jang was supposed to be the main villain, so…
Webtoon is so different than drama, they only took main concept (a taxi driver seeks revenge for others) then they added, removed and changed some characters, Cases in webtoon are not based on real life cases. Yes main villain was mr jang and !!!!!!!!SPOILER!!!!! !!!!!!!! only goeun survived so webtoon had the most terrible ending.
I think HaNa is going to end up joining Do Ki and gang. The answer she gave in the interview ( and got rejected…
I think so. This drama is based on true stories. For example the real udata ceo got only seven years and this angered so many people in Korea. Whatever she does, Ha Na will see in the end that criminals are not getting the punishments they deserve so this will push her to work with the crew of Rainbow Taxi.
I loved this drama so much. Plotline, characters, acting and cinematography are top notch but story comprises so many sensitive and traumatic topics so it may be very hard to watch it for some individuals. I don't know if there will be a love line but Ha Na and Do Gi have great chemistry and there is tension between them so it would be such a waste if they don't. Both of main leads are seeking for the justice but in different ways, in the ways they believe. Ha Na is representing the "justice by laws" meanwhile Do Gi is representing the "justice by fists". 10/10 and definitely recommended.
