The only problem I have with the series is the pacing. Acting, plot and Instrumental music are great, but it does…
First two episodes were extended (longer running time) so I think they wanted to focus on the vibe and father-daughter tension more. Let's see how the pacing goes in the next episodes.
But I just hope Eunho has a lot of money saved up and she owns the house EH/HR lives in coz Hyeri isn't getting…
This is why I can't switch personalities even how bad life gets. My brain is too practical to not consider those details. Like my letter would go "Dear Hyeri, I'm not happy. But here's my ATM and the code is this and these are the bills we need to pay monthly, don't forget them and here are my insurance numbers in case something happens and here are..." hahahaha
This is more enjoyable than I thought. When I first heard about this drama, I didn't care much even though Kim Taeri leads it. But it's really soooo good! All the chemistry works.
EunHo really went and said "Hyeri take the wheel"I just want to hug her with how she kept taking punches from…
But I just hope Eunho has a lot of money saved up and she owns the house EH/HR lives in coz Hyeri isn't getting paid at the parking lot hahahaha JY please make sure HR is fed too lol
I really need to rant after watching last night's episode and the preview of E9. Everything is just stressful.…
I knew deep down that EH won't end up with JY, but I think JY plays a big part in healing EH thru HY. For one, he knows her secret and was just told her can make room for two in his heart. So I think he'll try to help HY (since she took over now) to come to terms with EH's pain and maybe that's why he goes to HO. HO tho really really really needs to communicate properly with EH. Let her make the decision whether she's willing to carry his granny responsibilities with him or not. He kinda made that arbitrary decision for her and broke up with her even though he loves her. Love is not key to a good relationship, communication is.
The café scene change a lot the perspective and how we see their relationship. Is he really only a taker? Or is…
I don't know how people want him to react otherwise. Like did they expect him to go "oh, so that's what it is. thank you for letting me know. i will now forget hyeri existed. goodbye." That is so unreal. Of course he's shocked. Of course he'll try to bargain to get back what he lost. He just got dropped a bomb. Let see how it goes than cursing him for reacting in such a way.
I think JuYeon's reaction was perfectly valid. He has just been told that he dated an alter ego and all the memories he spent with Hyeri is not remembered by Eunho. It's like the person he dated just died. Of course he'd plead to want her back. He had been closed off from most everyone and the person he let in is just gone. He was being honest with how he felt. Now if he would continue to stalk Eunho to ask for Hyeri back, that would make him more unlikable and totally selfish.
But I'm happy that Eunho was honest to him as well. She didn't make excuses. Maybe them being honest to each other will help Eunho heal and understand Hyeri more and why she continued to live as that persona while maybe (and that's a big maybe) JuYeon eventually falls in love with the real Eunho.
Meanwhile HyunOh is just unnecessarily burdensome. He doesn't want to marry her and breaks up with her because she wants marriage. But he keeps getting involved in her life even professionally (like f**k that even if they're still in a relationship he pulled weight at the company to give up on his dream to let her keep her position... is she so unworthy of being an announcer that he needs to be a knight in shining f**king armor just for her to be one?) when she doesn't want that. He's neither here nor there with her. He doesn't tell her about his situation or the things that burden him. He created this happy bubble with Eunho that he broke but he still wants to be in it.
It would be strange if you felt chemistry with EunHo and JuYeon. Split personality means Hyeri is like a totally different person. This is why everyone is praising Shin Hae Sun's acting because you feel that EunHo and JuYeon doesn't have chemistry but Hyeri and JuYeon does.
4 years ago from present, Eunho and HyunOh broke up. They were dating for 8 years. If the current year of the drama is 2024, then they started dating in 2012. Eunho already got accepted as an announcer before Hyeri disappeared (in her diary) Hyeri got lost during her college graduation trip in 2014. Their grandma passed away 5 years after in 2019 (the letter declaring Hyeri dead shows 5 years but not subtitled). The drama opens up with scenes of Eunho and HyunOh dating in 2015-2018. Eunho found Hyeri's diary and worked at the Media N parking lot. She was already working at PPS and asked for the morning radio show. She knowingly did that for 3 years (2019-2022 or 2020-2023).
Now she has DID. Hyeri became another personality outside of Eunho. She's been seeing her doctor for 2 months already by Ep1.
Also this means HyunOh was already part of EunHo's life when Hyeri disappeared. And still together when Hyeri was declared dead and her grandma passed away. But it seems shortly after, they broke up. And then in sadness, EunHo tried to do what Hyeri said she wanted to do (come to think of it, that's like JuYeon becoming an announcer).
We still don't know what triggered the personality split.
Middle of Ep5... Go away Hyun-oh! Shoo! Why even are you hovering her after breaking her heart?
Finished Ep5... I still don't like HO. I don't care what emotional wound he has, but hovering her while he considered her needing him is not healthy for EH. Had EH taken him back, she would just get hurt. It's a fragile stability that won't help EH's DID. Meanwhile I miss JY-HR. Especially how JY allows himself to be vulnerable in front of HR.
