because hyunoh is not changing or owning up to his mistakes. one has to take a step. being stuck like that and wanting to be stuck like that is why we don't like this character to be in any romantic relationship

there is no *hate* on him. people saying he's a red flag is because he is a red flag especially for someone like eunho. but at least eunho is seeing a psychiatrist. hyunoh just went once and all he can talk about is he didn't want to break up and asking why he's selfish. he's not yet in any path towards recovery of his wounds.

at this point, getting back together is not a solution. that's what's bothering us. if they were your real life friends, would you advise them to get back together?

I was okay watching and empathizing with the pains of Eunho but that was also with the hope that there's a good payoff at the end. So after reaching Episode 10 and get this, it's hard to not feel frustrated with the writer/s with just 2 epis left

In all press materials in Korean (I read Naver articles), they present this as a healing drama. How why shouldn't I look for what they advertised this drama as?

I still can't justify liking HO. He's acting now like he found out he broke his favorite toy and wants to put it back together again so he can put it back on the shelf and gaze at it lovingly.

I'm not mad at the actors. I'm mad at the writer.

My problem here is that a dependent kind of broken person is not going to heal in a relationship with a narcissistic kind of broken person. I've seen it irl. It doesn't work.

why can't the ML's narcissistic ass just go with noble idiocy and let go of the girl completely (not the way he broke up with her but still doing things to affect her career)

Love is not enough for a healthy relationship. Why is it that some friendships are healthier than romantic relationships? Because aside from platonic love there's more honesty. And he was not honest with her. He made decisions on what he thought was best for her. That's like owning a pet. He should just get himself a pet.

Right. I don't mind if Eunho doesn't end up with Juyeon, but Hyunoh has never opened up really. Until he does and owns up to his faults, he's not going to be any good to any person he gets into a relationship in. Love is not enough, people. Eunho might feel she needs Hyunoh's love, but unless he allows himself to fully be honest with her about why he doesn't want marriage then he'll just end up hurting Eunho and making a false happy bubble with her.

I really do hope that the writer closes this well.

That said, will put this on hold until it finishes so I can rip the bandage off in one go. I realize now that this is not a drama for slow watching because it took more than half the drama of trauma after trauma for Eunho that we share with her. Then only a few eps of healing. It's honestly not a healing drama for viewers.

Waiting for FbC to complete before I watch it since I know the cdrama by heart, I would most likely compare. So better to binge it to not dwell on the comparison.

Jeongnyeon is a gem of a very different flavor

I don't like how he kept thinking "he didn't want to break up" but he did. That was his choice. Now he's crying because it had such a repercussion on Eunho's end. Like he's still not owning up to choosing to be an a*hole of a boyfriend. He really shouldn't be in a relationship until he fixes himself. Even now, I still worry that he'll keep hurting Eunho if they get back together.

Why did Dear Hyeri & What Comes After Love come out at the same time hahaha both have amazing cinematography but both so very sad. That's why I keep watching A Virtuous Business to give me a mood lift.

She is the only main character who knows herself and accepts herself with her flaws. Because of that, she can hold her ground.

it's the only way to explain him and make him human coz he doesn't open up to anyone about it. he deserves the lonely island he decided to live in.

How can we not? He was right to ask HO that after he told him about EH's did, all he could think about was that they dated and EH's other personality liked him. JY only wanted to clear up things to at least have closure but also worried about EH/HR disappearance. And he looked for her, not like HO who just simmered in his bottled up emotions.
