Don't go back to it. Felt rage baited, too. I watched it all the way through (well, fast forwarded through some parts of episodes because the story started dragging). Towards the end something similar happens again on a larger scale and I was like...WTH?! At least she got an apology out of ML for the snitching scene. And sure the ML was hella naïve for someone being given a position as a president, but using the dad using the method he did to aid in his son's "maturation" was sucky. Dad did it for greater good, but if we're talking about realism no way things are so neatly resolved for the FL after what happened. The difficult issues the creators chose to smooth over and the ones they chose to emphasize just left me dissatisfied. The show tried to thread the needle with light-hearted and mature and just left me irritated.
