In Hidden Love Sang Yan feels more like a bridge between Sang Zhi and Jia xu, primarily serving as a comedic presence and coming across as an extra side character, however the Sang Yan I know from the novel is witty and sarcastic not comedic. He’ll engage in playful banter ? yes, but is he comedic ? No ( acc to me ) — his humor is sharp and intentional. He’s a very sensible person but often masks his real emotions with a nonchalant, sarcastic, and carefree attitude also he can be really blunt at times ( which I love love about him ) and he’s super self-confident and sarcastic ( bcs yes he is )

Sang Yan is one of my favorite characters from web novels and I just can't wait for him to come to life, I've watched Hidden Love too but the Sang Yan I know is so different from the Sang Yan in Hidden Love, That's why I am eagerly waiting for this one !
