I lost brain cells watching this, honestly, I have no idea why the rating is so high, I've never felt so annoyed watching a drama in my life, especially body swaps which is a favorite genre of mine
Minor spoilers!!
Body swap to a rich kid who was bullied to the point of suicide, what does the "gangster" do? treat him to drinks and a hearty meal and let's talk about the word gangster, this guy isn't a gangster at all, nothing about him says gangster, it would be more accurate just to say he's a fighter
Firstly, the mc doesn't use common sense....i mean AT ALL! seriously, I'm being so serious. He's body died when their body swapped, what was his next form of action? to try die again...did he not stop to think where his soul would go? he keeps talking as if Yi Heon would come back...Yi Heon is gone along with your body!!! (ending didn't make sense but we move)
To be so high on a gangster organization you'd have to do some unspeakable things, I promise you, the worst thing this "gangster" has done is lecture those under him
AND WHY ON EARTH can he not just say "I" or "ME" is it so difficult to use those pronouns, why is he referring to himself in the third person when he's trying to act the part and he's calling see Kyung dangerous when he figured out something so OBVIOUS, he's clearly not trying to hide the fact that he isn't Yi Heon
MONEY...THE KID GOT MONEY!!! USE IT!!!!! There are so many issues that could've been taken care of if he had just spent some money!!!!!!! why doesn't he just claim the position of heir?? what kind of no.2 gangster is that??
Minor Spoiler ----------------- I was wondering why it had such ratings until I watched the end, that has to be the most disappointing ending, ML really gave up everything he worked for, endured, and sacrificed for...Love, he rejected all the girls that were in love with him to date some thick-headed foreign princess
I got annoyed as the episode went by after episode 45, it was truly disappointing and was so happy when it ended (don't like not finishing good dramas)
Minor Spoiler ----------------- I was wondering why it had such ratings until I watched the end, that has to be the most disappointing ending, The Apathetic ML really gave up everything he worked for, endured, and sacrificed for...Love, he rejected all the girls that were in love with him to date some thick-headed foreign princess

This director single-handedly BUTCHERED this drama, this is AWFUL, I kept watching to see Byeon Woo play the antagonist but even that's not enough, I skipped any parts with the main cast in...AWFUL I TELL YOU! AWFUL!!! DUMB CHARACTERS TO GO AROUND
such a promising concept was ruined by the two male leads
They're nothing but ignorant, childish, and impulsive, I kept on watching due to the potential the drama had and the female leads
However, I was forced to drop this drama because I couldn't deal with the erratic and impulsive duos, both of them overreact when it comes to even the slightest hint, they never try to maintain composure and act before they can actually think
3/10 purely for the personalities the male characters possessed
It's obviously more than a little crush though if he's willing to make so many sacrifices for her. That's the…
bruh, they met like a couple month (few contact between them) which is not enough to risk me and my people's lives
What he did was gamble, gamble with his soldier's lives on the line, if Chang decided to rat him out when she misfired the arrow...what then?
It's story plot, in RL, if you see the person that conquered your city and could get him in serious trouble which could cause internal fight, anyone would pounce at that opportunity, he is love blinded and can't see clearly
Having such a person control such an army is dangerous in itself
I hate myself for watching this, now no other dramas would be good enough to watch, I always liked Anti-hero’s/Villains and the fact that I was able to witness one in historical drama was absolutely bone-chilling
Every character had its role, if even one of the support characters were missing, the drama wouldn’t be the same, every character effected the storyline
During the last couple episode I realized that the way Yi Bang Won portrayed and acted like a greedy, ambitious, apathetic and power-hungry person was something suitable of being recorded in history, none of these frilly dramas where all their hard-works eventually gets abandoned due to some dumb hyperactive female lead
The scene where Boon Yi and the Grandmother stopped the two swordsman from…Goosebumps, I was on the edge of my seat
I was praying that nothing ruined the plan and everything went well
Smart Female Lead isn't a tag because she's as stupid as it gets, she has memories of the future and the ability to heal herself
what's the first thing she does you ask? basically tell her 'future enemy' about it then proceeds to announce it to the world
If you have knowledge of the future there are sooooooooo many ways to achieve your goal, what does she do? she applies to be an astrologer and is toyed around by high ranking politicians
may I ask what was so special about an ordinary girl who literally chased the guy every other girl wanted...what exactly stood out that hundreds of other girls he had probably seen didn't match up to her
The story is great don't get me twisted but it annoyed me to see such a brilliant person fall in love with someone so...simple.
I don't see the reason to keep such an annoying and dangerous person by your side, you're willing to put yourself and your whole army in jeopardy for a little crush?

Apart from that, the drama was 10/10
