and we have 2 episodes left but we still don't know what the specific grudge hanbada's ceo has against yeon woo's mother. a grudge so strong that she couldn't let go after 27 whole years? if it's only because of an unrequited love for yeon woo's father, it's seriously dumb.

it's actually good the romance didn't take center stage. i was into this drama only for the cases. but since they wrote romance in, they should have written it better. they should talk about jun ho's perspective too, what does he like about yeon woo? what is it about her as a person that makes her bigger than her autism? because up until now she is still defined by her "disability". the episode where the disabled girl was "raped" by her bf was a good opportunity to talk about realistic challenges and it also should have been a stepping stone for jun ho and yeon woo to reflect on their own relationship. but none of that happened. the guy was sentenced to jail, no one challenged the verdict, the lawyers doubted his love from start to finish, was there even a talk about appeal? the cases has stopped being interesting for a few weeks now.

rated this a 9 when i started now it's an 8, i will likely rate this even lower when it ends.

the romance is shallow. jun ho fell in love with her because she's pretty? he finds her talking about whales quirky and funny? yeon woo was right - she's one out of many in the spectrum, what about the challenges of love?
and su yeon falling for the asxhole kwon? why??? such a lame development.

no idea who he is. will try an ep or two. the fantasy storyline doesn't sound original but if done well i'm open to it. hope there's a bit of comedy in it. literally can't believe someone actually wrote "europeans viewers are not as easily pleased as asian viewers", these are asian dramas we made for our people, to be broadcast on our channels, and the reason why the shows went on global platforms is that international fans can't get enough of our stuff. but ok "european viewers not as easily pleased like asian viewers" lol it's one thing to dislike dramas but to make another group of people sound like damn mindless idiots is beyond megalomania.

i feel his fear of being ridiculed by other people. i'm not a fan of tenors or countertenors. but reading this article, i am glad there are people who appreciate him for his pitch. i'm glad there are people who fight for him so he can have a career.

i watched two episodes. the subs are bad. and the plot is progressing so slowly ugh but i do like watching the detective team and i want to know who the insane mfer killer is

when i said "radically different roles" it doesn't mean characters with similar disposition and personality in different genres. and if i said i wish for something fresh from him, i was expressing hope.
