Yes, you are right. Female lead has step father but he never mistreated the kids. He is very understanding and caring. And yes the thing about Imperial Coroner, I am glad that they showed some weakness for male lead- (he cannot fight) and not a perfect man without shortcomings. I loved that. I can't help it. I started with C-dramas and I couldn't get connected to other country dramas. So I watch only them and I guess based on the comments I received, many of us share the same likes and dislikes and some said these are seen in other countries dramas as well!
