Why so mean to one character in a huge series with hundreds of people involved?

Honestly, who cares about the actors and supporting cast and what happens in their personal life.

And, what proof does anyone have beyond the morons posting what they feel and hear from someone else?

Leave it to the authorities. Where on this planet has a murder ever been solved by an idiot with a video on YouTube or a blog?

Get a life.

I’m impressed you went until ep 8
I tried. I started getting too angry. I knew I had to stop watching it. 😊

I don’t know if anyone else noticed this but in some episodes there were scenes where they were inside a house/room…
On the director’s commentary for Connie and Carla, Nia Vadarlos mentioned how cold it was filming in Toronto. To get through the nighttime scene of them walking across the street and talking, someone had them chew ice just before each shot. It takes away seeing people’s breath when speaking (the scene was supposed to be West Hollywood at night).

I'm sorry, but I just felt the need to say that this is a Korean drama because you used Chinese dramas as a reference…
Best example I could come up with since the Chinese dramas/rom-coms tend to drag everything out. There was one I started and by episode 16 I felt it was already lather-rinse- repeat. I skipped 24 episodes and didn't miss a thing.

I understand Korean BLs are still new territory. They are taking things slowly to see how the audience reacts. On the Korean side of things I love how they focus on the character and how the relationship develops.

Given how loosely Thai adaptations are usually based on the source material, I would really like Ja to have departed…
I do agree. There seems to be an over the top element to much of the production - in many respects there are some comedic elements/characters that I will never understand but, survive in Asian Dramas (the annoying character(s) - Gye Bin - in Business Proposal, the flamer in You're My Destiny, Sompriao in this one...). That is why I never finished Once Upon A Small Town - hated the lead female...most of what she did was unforgivable.

Make sure you avoid Skinship - that was a dumpster fire on a sinking ship while riding through the Bermuda Triangle...on Friday the 13th.

I guess if I knew the broadcast time and target audience for this one. In the BLs where there are certain scenes NC-17 - the supporting cast seems more mature overall. That doesn't happen here. That whole outdoor Japanese tub scene was pretty racy for most BLs - I was surprised to see it acted with such detail and like you said - then, the acting turns back to stereotyped characters. It doesn't know what it wants to be.

In the dramas, dramedies, rom-coms where the most we'll see is a dead fish kiss - everything seems lighter as not to offend anyone and entertain everyone. I think that is why HIStory 3: Trapped was such a huge success. Some light comedy but, good storyline and great cast.

I found it difficult to watch as well. Then, I read that Ja was following the source material pretty darn closely and that childish innocence matched. I did appreciate that when the sex finally started happening - they let him mature a bit and appear to be age appropriate for what they were doing as a couple.

Because Asian dramas absolutely love to show us people getting hit by cars and trucks - when I see that one manager who is playing evil times twenty, I am usually yelling at the screen "Hit her with a truck!"

The writers are/were lazy for this production. Evil one tells henchman to sneak in as an extra. Being that in every scene - there has never been an extra - how did that happen? And, with all those people watching - why was Punn the only one to see the guy getting ready to throw/drop the chest?

For quality, continuity, etc. - I would love to see a repeat of HIStory 3 - Trapped. Loved that one.

My favorite part of episode 9 was the grandmother taking Gu Won to the bank to open a housing/home purchase account and providing the first deposit. A perfect moment. I love that he is seeing that he is treated more like family in Sa Rang's circle than in his own.

Wasn't happy with the amount of drunk scenes and the amount of drinking. Like others have said - a lazy way out of scenes and situations. For Ye Ji Won's character - how did her liver survive?

Yeah, I didn't fancy the female lead character either.
I was just reading my post and thought. "I wonder if I was a little harsh?" LOL This could have been a great series. I am into Sell Your Haunted House right now. Great cast.
