To me, it's more than just a love story. It's a journey of healing. Every girl can somehow relate to this character. This drama approaches the topic of sexual assault with subtlety and realism. The makers of this show did an excellent job portraying such a sensitive topic, making the message clear: 'The one who has to suffer is the criminal, not the victim.' Victims should not have to carry their wounds forever.

Yifan’s healing journey is at the heart of The First Frost. It’s raw and emotional. Running away from everything was her only way of surviving. But when there was one more person she wanted to protect—someone she loved—she realized that running could no longer be the answer. Gradually, Yifan finds the courage to love herself again.
