For two people who’ve been friends since childhood I think they’re too awkward to each other…
The reason why they become awkward with each other is bc now they rlly dont know what their relationship is. Throughout the past nineteen years, eunsoo established them as best friends and sunwoo accepted and respected what eunsoo thought so they were able to be best friends. When eunsoo found out abt sunwoos true feelings, their relationship became complicated as eunsoo now doesnt know what their relationship is and she clearly doesnt want to think abt it as she tries dodging what sunwoo had to say in ep 3 as she thought sunwoo was gonna confess. So thats why it became so awkward. Theyre clearly not on the same page as of right now which made the relationship awkward. Imagine you found out that ur best friend had feelings towards u for years. You start thinking what would happen if you reject his feelings or if you accept it and how it changes the relationship.
