I would say I liked this more than the kdrama. I found that i understood this ml more than the k ml. It made sense why they kept his pov in the end and his feelings were conveyed. Gave that artistic touch to it all.

I am not a hater and I genuinely like the concept of the drama, my problem is the way they were spoon feeding the information and they were dragging on the simple nuances. I understand the orgasm aspect but for me the acting fell short at times and that is why it removed me from the experience of watching the drama.

I can tell this is going to be my guilty pleasure. The man with those territorial eyes and his constant possessive tone in regards to her 🛐

As a avid fan of the k version, I started this out of sheer curiosity. The minute the first scene rolled I knew this wasn't it. They made the ML seem boyish and immature, which was the whole fighting point the OG had. ML in k version would get frustrated that FL still sees him as a kid not a man. Then I didn't like the choice for FL. This did one thing right which is make me re-watch the OG one. Those who haven't please watch that. It has the warm feels to a T.

The second couple had perfect chemistry. Their scenes were too hot. Need a spinoff asap

You kinda put it so beautifully. The title of the show is the answer, these people know what's right nevertheless the heart wants what it wants.

God I am glad to hear that the drama is changing route from the webtoon. Despite everything I really do ship PJE and Nabi cause I just this PJE has potential. The scene where he volunteers as assistant and the song that played ufff chef's kiss. And the parting line from Nabi, dude savage af! my mouth literally dropped open when I understood what it really meant.

I am trying to say they are indeed showing us a sick relationship. And it is doing a good job at it. So hate the characters all you want but do give the work the praise where it's deserved.

I hope you try this at your own will. It will surely make an impression on you.

I have been waiting for a kdrama which isn't shy about skinship and explores boundaries. I definitely see that the show is depicting a relationship which is more modern and a toxic one. They are doing a good job at not romanticising it but actually being honest about it. I really hope the unnecessary hate that they are getting on baseless aspects doesn't stop other people from making more dramas like this. SK deserves a lot of praise and HSH too. They have made their characters too real to have these debates upon and I wish people could just shut up and appreciate it rather than bringing them down for trying something new.

God I wish others were taking the drama in the way you interpreted. There is literally baseless hate because of multiple sex scenes and kisses. People want open-minded kdramas yet can't digest it when it's delivered.

I think as it's from Nabi's pov she interprets PJE as the bad guy.

God this drama was really good. I wish people could be a bit nicer towards it. I mean we all know what kind of dramas should be bashed and there are some among the popular ones. Yet I felt like time just slipped away when I watch MM and DK together. I really didn't bother with the second leads story cause it no way linked w the main one. That's my only complaint. Otherwise this show kept making me giddy and yet sad and anxious for the fate of the leads. I see all MDL comments being more negative about this than any other site. I'm out of here.

I guess if the drama is making people take the lead's dynamics so seriously then the show is definitely winning. Song Kang's character is definitely a grey one and he has played it so well that we can't help but be fascinated by his tactics. I saw a comment where they said about how it's like ML is playing with not only the FL but also us and our perception about whether he is a fboi or not. I also saw people complaining about FL's choices and I think if you haven't been in this kind of a situationship you'll never really understand. It's her being a human who definitely do make bad decisions for reasons complicated enough to decipher. I kind of love their chemistry yet it's nice to watch a relationship which is not so picture perfect.

I 100% agree. The reason so many are angry is because they are subjected to these perfect romances in kdrama that they are unable to digest the not so perfect ones.
