Don't want to sound rude but why you not watching Laos media? I saw someone in here mentioned that CH7 lakorns were a hit there, but not CH3 and GMM. Though, I'm not so sure about that.

I want some recs on Laos's dramas and movies.

I think Lakorns are way better these days and keep improving. I can't get into an old Lakorns either. Mydramalist says the same thing about their popularity, I think it's even surpass Jdrama in terms of watcher.

I don't think Thai dramas should delete their roots. Lakorns should be a lakorn. If I want a cute romance, I will watch something else.

I don't think it's even majority. They're just the same with GMMTV. Also I heard that both CH3 and GMMTV use the same sets of director. Like, Nuchie who directed GMMTV's Not Me also directed CH3's Love Forever After. The outcome might not be that different.

Have you watched Dare to Love or Are We Alright and you think it's similar? Not all are dramatic.

Not like gmmtv is not dramatic, taking this show for an example. It's definitely way more dramatic than a typical ch3 show.

I'm into all types of drama. I don't get what you mean tho. I tried to google it but still don't understand. CH3 is definitely versatile. You can check all of their upcoming and line up. That's all sorts of drama that one channel can provide.

And GL isn't equal having gay character in dramas. There's barely any "mainstream" GL.

- People complaining about Joss, I think he's fine, not so good but fine and fit the role.
- Mek's character though... if they were made a switch with Foei, it would have been a lot better. Matt needs a stronger actor to make an impact. While Pitch, I think Mek can play him.
- Eve, I will change it to Mook Worranit (but she's Mek's younger sister, might not be comfortable slapping her bro). Maybe Fah Yongrawee.
- Kapook, fits the role. She should have been a FL for a really long time.
- Namtarn, Stunning! She slays it
- Chimon, fit the role. Love his chemistry with Namtarn.
- Get Push Puttichai for Tay's role and White could have been replaced with Tay.

In my opinion, counting all channels; CH3, CH7, Nadao and GMMTV. The one that have the most genres is CH3. They even have GL.

Like production house called Change2561 that produced Club Friday, The Fallen Leaf for example, there's a violence but nothing says it's right but still, they get criticized.

I would like to add CH3 being progressive too. Mia Jum Pen is their one and only slap and kiss in a span of like 5 years? and it's the channel that produced Sawan Biang and Jum Loey Ruk lol

Mia Jum Pen is in a case of victim blaming imo. But violence in non romanticizing scenes should be a different story.
