Oh wow, I've been so busy with life that I only now wanted to watch a kdrama again and... I didn't even know season 3 had dropped?? I'm for sure going to watch it soon enough and I'll come back under this comment!! :D
i've been stuck on the ending of ep4 for a while now. i can't seem to find any motivation to continue watching it, even though Go Min Si is one of my fav kdrama actors and the cinematography is beautiful. i read that it gets better at the last few episodes, but should i really have to drag myself through the majority just to get to the good part? it feels like i'm watching national geography, it's beautiful and tragic but lacks something more to keep me intrigued.

i think i'll start actively recommending the series again after the new season comes out. i wouldn't want them to get invested and feel stuck on the second season, and i know my friends good enough to know they'll binge watch all seasons at once lol.
i do see the first season as its own movement, which is why it still has a special place in my heart. no matter what happens in the newer sequels, the love i have for the original will never fade away. it will always stay with me. i just hope the next season will pull everything back together.
this season was so disappointing to me i won't recommend sweet home to my friends until the next season drops. i think this is such an obvious filler season to set the tone of life with the monsters on the upper ground, but it completely threw away the essence of the first season. a shame truly. this was just a total different kdrama, during ep 3/4 i couldn't even bother continuing. the ending scenes had potential, but it shouldn't have taken the whole first half of the season to get something going.
am i the only one who just hates how the english sub on netflix doesn't translate most of the korean texts on the screens?? especially with the texts between bbbfamous or just any time they showed the screen with those insta posts. makes me feel like i'm losing quite a bit of action, especially when the texts are the only communication between characters.
I wish there wasn't such a big gap between the two seasons. It made me forget get out of the feeling after a while. However, the kdrama did a great job of immediately pulling me back in and I can proudly say that I loved both seasons. Amazing kdrama!
Ha Yoon Chul. When I catch you it's over. I get that he wants to do everything for his child but wow that backstab hurt me so much. I was really rooting for him after finishing season 1 and look where we are lol.
