I finished the drama and i sincerely don't understand this hate against the FL. I loved her from the first episode to the last and she made me laugh a lot. She never did something stupid that would interfere the investigation or create an annoying misunderstanding.
Y'all just can't handle a sassy woman with principles.
i really thought i would love the whole drama, but... as it so often happens to melodramas, the writers overdid. this story would be great as a standard 16 episode one season drama. because even if the characters are doing their best and the plot is exciting, there is point when the people get bored with constant emotional pain. also the arguments between the main leads sometimes felt forced and not really understandable while hardships that should prevent them to be together at some point felt repetitive. and i mean the last episodes???? really? they added amnesia in the plot TWO TIMES TO THE SAME CHARACTER? even one would be too much i swear. like guys, it's not the one and only way to create more drama.
this all kinda ruin the impression for me unfortunately.
and did they really leave my beloved ryang eum to rot in the prison after Janghyun promised him to come back??? gosh i didn't want to be disappointed but im kinda am.
But anyway i really want to praise the cast, like literally everyone was just excellent! and the two main characters are such well written characters! they are deep, interesting, relatable and they just fit together so well, perfectly complementing each other. this is really a rare case when you start to believe that these two people are meant to be.
Just finished it and need to collect thoughts to write a review. But. BUT. I definitely don't get this huge hate around the ending. Like what's wrong with it???? It is kinda rushed yes, but the twist and the ending itself are really great! There are several layers behind it and it felt just right.
Please don't pay attention to all that comments and 2/10. You can miss a good drama with an excellent cast. It's an interesting story, try to watch it.
