I completely agree with you. reality is cruel. if this show is based on reality then they need to wait till they get older. the director tried to talk about the dark side of the BL industry but it looked like they're scared to expose it too much. in ep 12 they abruptly stopped talking about it and rushed the ending. they should talk more about the plot and the difficulties instead of adding fillers.

Spoiler: ending discussion.I am seeing quite a few comments expressing how they were disappointed by the ending.…
this show was really good. i understand that the director wanted to talk about the dark side of the media, film industry and what kind of difficulties they're facing because of the fans. they should have talked more about the characters. but in ep 12 they abruptly stopped talking about Gene, Nubsib and the problems they're going through and they went on planning to talk about the writers discussion and imagination to end a story, at that moment i felt completely disconnected from the storyline.
no proper conversation between the characters. if they're really talking about the dark side of the media then there wouldn't be a quick happy ending. and they wouldn't be kissing like nothing happened. going against the whole industry and media aren't an easy task. they should have talked more about the reality. if the ending is based on reality, then they couldn't be able to reconcile in the end because of the media. Nubsib should have renewed his contract. and lay low until they get older. this kind of realistic ending should have left an impact on the dark side of media. but they filled the last episode with delusional ideas to divert everyone from the saddest truth.
they had so many ways to end it neatly but they failed to do so. and why we need a parallel universe since they had so much to add to the story.

when they left many things unanswered, the fairy-tale sequences and the breaking of the fourth wall weren't necessary to the storyline. this show was surprisingly good. but sadly they ruined it in the end. the director wanted to talk about the dark side of the media, film industry and anti fans. but they failed to covey the message. they should have talked more about the characters and the difficulties they're going through their entire career. but they filled ep 12 with the delusional ideas. that was unrelated to the storyline.

i agree with you. this show was surprisingly good. but they filled ep 12 with the writers struggle to finish a novel. i know its not an easy task but they should have talked more about the characters. I wanted more from Nubsib since Gene's become more submissive. i thought Sib's going to beat up someone. its not like i wanted him to punch someone but I was really curious since they didn't include that scene in the series. i wonder what's the story behind it.
they didn't talk about what happened to Nubsib and Gene during that 4 months time gap instead they were saying that Gene and Sib were imaginary characters so the viewers can decide an ending of their own. honestly i don't want to imagine anything. i wanted them to finish it properly. now i wonder how the real novel ended.

For me, this series really started out strong. First half of the series was really, really good. Next 3 episodes…
You're right. it had an unique plot. this show was surprisingly good. but sadly they ruined it in the end. they filled ep 12 with the writers struggle to finish a novel. they weren't talking about Gene or Sib but it had delusional ideas about the ending. that was unpleasant to watch.
in my opinion the director wanted to talk about the media, film industry, and anti fans. but they failed to covey the message.
i wanted more from Nubsib. some people were saying that in the novel Sib's going to beat up someone. I was really curious since they didn't include that scene in the series. I thought Nubsib's skilled enough to persuade the company to stay with Gene but in the end nothing happened. finally they were saying that Gene and Sib were imaginary characters so the viewers can decide an ending of their own. that was very disturbing. honestly i don't get the ending.

I really liked this series. in ep 12 there were too many filler scenes. at first i thought Aey would be a perfect villain but we get nothing from him. I was waiting for the scene where Nubsib beat someone. i really wanted to know who he was going to have a fight with.
Gene didn't want Sib to end the contract but after 4 months he simply says that his contract has ended. no explanation. later he was signing a contract without reading it. really what was that?
it seemed like they cut many scenes just to add fillers. the fairy tale endings were too boring. and looking into the camera after the kisses looked pretty creepy. not enjoyable.
and when they reveal the fact that Sib and Gene are not real people but only fictional characters by showing the real author in the end is the most disappointing thing in this series.
in my opinion fans know how to discern real and unreal things. if we watch tharntype, Tharn and Type were real characters only within the series. if its 2gether Sarawatine exist only within the series. Mew, Gulf are real life people not Tharntype. fans know who is who. but according to lovely writer Sib, Gene didn't even exist within the series. they're all imaginary characters. if we rewatch it, now we know they're unreal people.

what happened in the novel? who he's going to beat up. I m really curious since they didn't include that scene in the series. I thought Nubsib's skilled enough to persuade the company to stay with Gene but in the end nothing happened.

Gene didn't want Sib to end the contract and wanted him to continue being an actor. he wanted to end things with Sib. later they did meet again like nothing happened.
I thought Nubsib was smart enough to persuade the production team. but it didn't happen. we didn't get to see the parents point of view after the press conference. they didn't talk much about Aey. but there're too many unwanted scenes in Ep 12.

An ending should never have filler. It's supposed to be the climax. They had so many dramatic storylines they…
many things left unanswered. if they really wanted to talk about the damage created by the anti fans, they should have talked more about it instead of adding unrealistic scenes. the ending was like Gene and Sib were fictional characters. i don't get what they're trying to say. in my opinion what they're trying to say is boys love concept is only fictional work and it doesn't exist in real life and girls shouldn't daydream about it and disturb the actors. is that so?
i'm saying this because i really liked the show but ep 12 seemed extremely boring, because they weren't talking about Gene, Sib or Aey instead they're talking about the writer's point of view and unrealistic fairy tale ending. its simply heart breaking. I wanted them to end it naturally. they should talk more about the characters not the genre. they should have ended it without having any fillers. if they're unreal people what's the point of asking for a special episode or an another season. they've already ruined the show.

I liked this series. but Ep 12 looked unrealistic. there were too many filler scenes. the fairy tale part is too boring. i don't get the ending. it looked like Gene and Sib are not real but fictional characters. that's why real author is shown in the end. is that right?

ok. i really liked this series. i skipped that fairy-tale part. there were too many filler scenes. the only thing i liked in ep 12 is the hug between Sib and Aoey. i thought Sib is in action but nothing happened in the end. but i don't want him to punch someone.
Aoey would be a perfect villain but we get nothing from him. in ep 11 Gene wanted Nubsib to continue being an actor for a long time. but after 4 months Sib says his contract has ended. is Gene ok with that?
I understand what director is trying to convey but they didn't explain some parts well.

its supposed to be a sad ending. they didn't reconcile in the end because of the media. Nubsib renewed his contract and he didn't fight back to get Gene. he accepted what Gene told him to do. that's the story. but the writer tried to make it look like an happy ending by giving kissing scenes. but they simply messed it. it was really painful to watch. it freaked me out. they think fans are gullible.
