I agree. I live in India. so I get what you're saying about Asian countries. Indian people are terrified of such topics. It’s a shame to be different here. its not easy to talk about it in public. I don't dare to talk about my favourite shows even to my close friends. I know many people would say that it's not a part of Indian culture. so they wont support it. But many gay people live here, but they wont accept it. even if they make movies about it. People simply smash the theatre for releasing it.

You are totally right there. I cant believe we have been watching these things for years without even liking it. maybe we're expecting something different when they release a new BL movie or series. We can only hope that in the future, someone will make a serious series without all these formulaic clichés. they're trying to say that the "boys love concept is only fictional work and it doesn't exist in real life". that's why they're creating unbelievable characters (effeminate/useless uke and macho seme). now it became laughable.
Its really funny when you say "They faint when sunlight touches them", I still don't get why the scriptwriters have to stoop down to that level to describe a character that way. how it will become heterosexual when they obviously use two guys?

Most of the stories have clichés of nonsense. Its really rare to see something decent. I feel that the scriptwriters are homophobes. They portray the LGBTQ community in a wrong way. the companies force and pressurize the actors to do something they don’t really like. and they end up teasing everything. yes I have noticed that the dominant tops always use that overused line and the bottoms look unnecessarily feminine. now I have to wonder if they really know what homosexuality means.

at first I thought Thai production companies are taking LGBTQ seriously. after watching many Thai BL stories, I feel that they are making fun of it. they think fans are gullible. and they're trying to get more money out of it.
sometimes I do feel that they're not actually supporting it. that's why they're giving that line "I'm not gay, I only like you" almost in many Thai BLs. It's like they're not born that way naturally and they're forcing themselves to like the same gender. so they use the same techniques(trip, catch, stare for a long time and turn gay). production companies only care about the source of good earnings
you're right. Teh's doing exactly the same thing he did in ITSAY. he has always been impulsive and indecisive.…
ITSAY was overdramatic melodrama(indeed). they did ruin that fairy tale aspect of it. IPYTM is all about life, not fairy tale anymore. they're no longer teenagers, but I thought the writers would show some workplace conflicts like SOTUS S. or something else. that show did not ruin the feel of its prequel. in ITSAY, the story focused only on Teh and Oh-aew. but IPYTM, (I don't know) its boring. I only liked first 2 episodes. later I started skipping parts.
Oh-aew knows Teh better than anyone else. I would say its Oh-aew’s fault. Why did he fall in love with an indecisive person in the first place? So now Oh-aew needs to accept him for who he really is.. or reject him completely without looking back.
Technically Teh also cheated on his girlfriend in the first season but nobody cared about that
but at least he never said that he's dating her.
now in IPYTM Teh started treating him the way he treated Tarn in ITSAY. but he's used to using people. now he has no respect for Oh-aew. this is just a continuation of ITSAY.
One of the funniest arguments people have agaisnt IPYTM is that Teh (and the whole series) has been uncharacterized. This…
you're right. Teh's doing exactly the same thing he did in ITSAY. he has always been impulsive and indecisive. this is well acted and directed show. it's not a mistake from the team. who would say that? they are making money out of it. so anything is fine. but no one said that their moral standards were offended by this. they were saying that the writers ruined the mood of ITSAY.
The only thing Jai did to Teh was when he kiss him ''the rehearsal way''. But Teh did fall in love way before…
I didn't say that you said that.
Teh easily succumbs to temptation.
in ITSAY Teh once said that one day he will stop feeling this way. that's what actually happening here. His love is like a passing cloud. it will disappear anytime. If Jai planned everything then Teh was using that to get close to him. Teh's checking his feelings by having sex with Oh. but he wanted to try something new after that. like spending more time with Jai and having dinner with him secretly. if he's really naive, he wouldn't do any of these. he's doing everything consciously. only after seeing everything Oh aew said that they should break up.
The only thing Jai did to Teh was when he kiss him ''the rehearsal way''. But Teh did fall in love way before…
I don't think Teh is naive. he lied to Oh aew, saying that he's eating with his friends while obviously having dinner with Jai. I thought he's straightforward but no. he knows how to lie. if he truly loves Oh-aew, he wouldn't let others manipulate him. and that night he saw Jai kissing another person. but still Teh wanted to try it with him. if Teh's attracted to someone, he will go after them without thinking. he would forget what he has in his life. that's why he couldn't fall in love with anyone completely. so its hopeless.
Let me ask you, do you think Teh can grow up and fully understand himself and practice to control emotions after…
yes, the characters are relatable. one thing that really bothered me after watching ep 3 nothing was accidental. I would say, if its anything accidental then it’s redeemable. But this is different. He didn’t actually cheat on him but he kept insulting Oh-aew from the start.
I know in reality some people can forgive them and some don't. now I'm really excited to see how they're going to end it. but I want it with a logical plot.

and I won't call that a cheating. (just using or being used for work)
maybe you have nothing to talk about the story.
you're just trying to defend it.
what do you like the most in IPYTM?
I just want to know your point of view.
but at least Oh-aew did nothing here.
he was obviously crying at that time. he didn't hide it. and Bas knew everything about them from the start.
