Idk why but I was really interested in this? I found it boring most of the time but something was just grabbing my attention so much so I just had to watch the next episode? and I’m the type of person who absolutely hates love triangles but I didn’t care about it in this show so overall it’s a decent watch
When this show first came out I watched until ep 9 then dropped it but it’s been on my mind since then to give it a 2nd chance because I remember it not being that bad and I just rewatched/finished the show! Still it’s not that bad but not great either ? After a bit of thinking I realized why S2 story was so boring for me! Naksu barely added anything to this season and her losing her memories for basically almost the entirety of S2 made it boring for me to watch so I personally wish that they made her regain her memories around the start or mid way of S2 and not near the end
Honestly I have no idea how I feel about S2? I loved the characters and enjoyed every bit of them so much so I was never bored but at the same time I could care less about the story .. anyways it was good overall but definitely not as good as the S1 and I probably would’ve felt more satisfied if S2 didn’t exist at all because it barely added anything exciting

I only made it to ep 5 but ended up dropping it months ago so I rewatched the 5 episodes and continued after and all I have to say is that it’s just boring? The main leads are likeable and interesting but honestly if this was set in modern day city Seoul I’d be so unbelievably bored though I only got through this because it’s set in Joseon which is very beautiful .. I guess this drama isn’t for me

Who was Hoyeon? First scene in and it’s like we’re supposed to view him as Seungjun’s boyfriend? But that’s not the case .. and clearly we see that he has feelings for Seungjun but it’s never explained and he never confesses so I think not showing Hoyeon’s story was the biggest disappointment for me tbh

Honestly the things that sucked were the fact that not a whole lot was explained/stuff felt like it was missing so I had quite a bit of questions afterwards and its pacing was a bit weird sometimes so I had to go on 2x speed sometimes because I wasn’t patient enough but the couple was cute

From what my understanding of it is Seungjun’s dream was to become a kpop idol and since apparently he had no family around? he grew up alone and looked up to and fell in love with that guy (who not only was his boss but also someone who abused their relationship and manipulated him) and Seungjun ended up depending on him emotionally but they never dated (because of the mind games Seungjun probably thought they were dating) so when he caught that guy “cheating” on him it broke him to the point of being insecure and made him have panic attacks probably because he then had to turn his entire life around and forget his dream while also leaving the one person he loved and trusted.. it’s not completely explained but that’s what I got out of his backstory but it does explain the happy ending for Seungjun because he got to accomplish his dream of being an idol in the end
I can’t with this writing LMAO they had an honest nice understanding conversation with each other about the fact that it’s just them in a relationship and no one else should tell them what to do and gun reassured him that everything’s alright yet an episode later Cher just goes back to his old mindset all of a sudden for no reason so that of course makes gun upset ?? Make it make sense ??
