between the 8th and 15th episodes, i think that while there was a lot of screentime where the audience could answer their questions and easily show sections from today, but they wasted too many unnecessary scenes. the reason for this is either script-based or film editing. as a result, a drama that started with great excitement but ended without leaving much of an impact on me.
btw, i had only 2 dramas that i followed the mdl comments so closely, day to day: the king of pigs and weak hero class 1. now king the land. can you look at the width of my kdrama spectrum?
normally, the ratings in korea were around %5 in the first episode, but then they made fun of this drama a lot on the korean forums and we looked at the second episode rating was around %7.5. in other words, we can say that even if people make fun of it, they still can't help watching it, lol. just enjoy the nostalgic romcom reminiscent of the 2010s and have fun!
the subject of this drama is very interesting and intriguing in terms of its storyline but there is something about this drama that made me feel disconnected from the show while watching the episodes. the reason is that the plot is not handled well. for example, sometimes there are details, but they are quickly skipped without explaining them fully or before the audience can understand them. either my attention isn't enough for this drama or the plot really doesn't work well into the drama, idk
there was a disconnect after episode 6 and I think it went out of line with the storyline. everything was brought to an end in fiction. normally the first 3 episodes were close to perfect, but the last episodes could not be preserved. normally it was a drama that I really wanted to rate high, but unfortunately this disconnect made me a little nervous.
so... is this a joke? screenwriters who created an environment where yoon hae joon could be arrested just to prolong it. now the drama is starting to get boring. i wish the screenwriters would have left everything as it was if there were 12 episodes instead of 16 episodes.
after watching the episodes, it leaves a very good taste in the mouth with that nostalgia atmosphere it gives like in Life on Mars. we can even call it the rural version of Life on Mars. i really like the handling of daughter's chance to get to know and protect her mother again, idk why. after watching two episodes, i realized that i really want continue watching. because the events unfold after the second episode.
i haven't been eagerly waiting for a new episode of any drama every week for a long time. it is indeed, drama doctor cha that has recently brought a new excitement to the kdrama industry and brought its own comedy genre.
their reference to cult scandals and bar scandal in korea is very good. it made the season 2 more exciting. also, both newcomers are excellent –shin jae ha & oh jung se– i hope the third season will be and it will be even more exciting if they go over this issue.
i just watched ep 3... but idk... if they had continued with the same theme and vibe (like severance) as in episode 1, maybe it wouldn't have been boring to people other episodes.
