im sorry.. but whoever said the main lead is problematic is delusional (ok not really cause he is bad) but IN MY HEART, he was good cause he genuinely was so closed off until he started caring for the FL and fell in love, sure he wasnt the best pick but he was the best for her, he actually cared and helped her when she was in trouble basically 9/10 times. i dont remember a single time he didnt help. I get that his behavior was off and weird at the start but i feel like some people take time to fix their behavior after knowing you , everyone you meet wont be perfect. we arent romanticizing problematic behavior we are showing what growth looks like , he acknowledged that he wasnt good and changed for her, TELL ME IF IM WRONG BUT THATS WHAT I REMEMBER.
i watched this years ago and i will glaze it til i die, best Kdrama, Assasin, thriller, detective, i've ever seen. + brownie points for the huskie , he did all the work.

they are literally sisters, they are introduced as '' the 2 sisters that had kids at the same time during the zhongyuan war '' ... we even get a cut-scene of the fact they both died and the kids got switchedðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I did not watch 24 episodes just to find out he jumps off a cliff, magically survives, and then later roams around while Jian wei suffers, and then possibly comes back just before hes shipped off to war..? I completely understand since they are cousins in the story, nothing more will come out of it, but then why mark it as BL when it isnt? I know this is also a strategy to bypass chinese restriction laws but its unfair marketing towards an audience.
This drama took quite the roller coaster of emotions for me to finish just for me to know they have finally decided to be '' brothers '' and live on without being near each other, the sole purpose of why i choose this drama was because it was marketed as bl.. ya'll im trying to catch up with the years of bl i've missed this is shit. ðŸ˜
EDIT: hold on am i blind?! I SWEAR it said they were cousins and the mothers were sisters?! i just rechecked and i cannot find where it said that, even tho they called each other sisters, no where is stated that they are.. am i delusional? SOMEONE HELP???
Okay, but speaking clearly. I'm guessing there won't be anymore episodes or seasons of Wu xie .. honestly i started this thinking its small and not that good or i wont get attached to this film or there characters but to be fair and honest i cant stop watching this incredible film i love everything about it and knowing there wont be any more episodes or fills about The Lost Tomb 3 or The Bronze Gate.. I really wanted to know what happened after Wu Xie & Zhang Qi Ling were trapped in the mountain. i also wanted to know how they got to the Bronze Gate, so many things were left off and not shown I'm hoping that maybe someday or somehow after maybe 1 - 4 years they will continue this film or coincider of making an end to it like a Last season or something like that because i seriously cant stop thinking about this film and it just amazes me how good it is & how good the characters are not only that but the parts that where left off, it was good but I'm hoping that they really do give it a shot to continue.. if not that's also fine I'll just feel empty and it will take me a while to get over the film just like The Untamed.. but hey i really do recommend watching it! it really tells an incredible story & story line not only about the Friendship, Loyalty, and Adventures it tells a story about every single character and there History & Life in general, other than that i really liked it a lot! that's all i have to say! goodbye.
