No, the arc is complete if I remember but the consequences is Mu Sheng slowly losing his insanity (can't control demon core). They separate journey because they need to find a new hair tie band. But Mu Sheng is still sweet to Miaomiao, more possessive.

I feel that 1% is because Mu Sheng still didn't know the Ling Miaomiao of real world. If he can accept that fact and love her to the point of letting her go.

I think it feels slow to some because it's not only centered to main, but also focuses other characters. Episode 24 may slow to some because it gives closure to Cuicui's problem on finding his father and giving Mu Yao and Mu Sheng to finally solve their family issues.
