I enjoyed season 1 so much, can’t wait for this

I believe the main reason he did that was because she was a girl. Usually guys feel less threaten by girl and think they can physically over come them. There was scene where he first thought about calling police but didn't and he even contemplated taking a knife but he had experience in fighting(we see him danging upside down on his bars) so he thought he could overpower her. But unlike his expectations, the gruesome scene horrified him & froze him & he was easily captured. Lesson learned.

A handsome delivery guy had beef with one of his female customer, who repeated harassed him, and later ended up finding that the bloody trash bag she made him throw was actually her own flesh, as she was oversized so she wanted to look skinny and appealing to him. But after capturing him, she destroyed his vocal cord & sewed his mouth as her ideal type is a guy who doesn’t speak especially because he had argued with her a lot & hurt her feelings with his words. It was a bit graphic.

You can see that Dong In did consider calling police but couldn’t as he didn’t have evidence, also I think he personally wanted to confirm so he was considering taking a knife as self defense but I think since she was a girl, he thought he could put off a fight & overcome her, also taking knife could be dangerous so at the end, after contemplating he went there & since door was open his curiosity got over him & end up getting deeper into the room mostly because his opponent was a girl & if it were a man I believe maybe he would have not entered. But opposite to his expectations he was horrified by the scene & end up freezing & not being able to put up a fight & get captured. It was a well lesson learning episode.

Usually celebs who are already popular and have decent acting skills end up getting lead role sooner than unpopular ones, it may seems unfair but they pull in the crowd. Dex might have a lead role but it’s not major as there are many characters playing lead role so I think it was a wise decision he made. Though I think his character was way more challenging(it was both serious & playful/bright) for first acting but he delivered it well. Dex was actually offered lead role in a movie by a popular Director but Dex said he refused as he thought he needed to build up more experience. In his next drama I shopping too, he is one of the many main characters. I think it was very wise decision but I hope he will pick lead characters now.

He usually end up being maknae, in many shows, so he is actually very clingy & occasionally cutesy to his elders, especially in Fresh off the sea, the cast were given time to bond and had very casual and real atmosphere, so Dex is not always cutesy there but it’s a way of him being playful with older and he usually reciprocates other’s vibe & has high empathy. Cutesy bright part of his side that is not dominant but was shown a lot in Fresh out of the sea especially because of his chemistry with cast, so I don’t think it’s forced.

I noticed that too, Dex did exceptionally well in S01 but due to many new cast & highlighted scripts they got, Dex's screentime was drastically reduced. Since it was entirely scripted he couldn't get much part. And was forced to stand & watch. The deleted scene of Taeyeon & Dex on that bike made me realize how the producers sidelined Dex & were more focused on their own script & comedy that they deleted an iconic scene like that. That scene was getting a lot of attention. Also I felt the reason why Sungjae was sacrificed despite him doing great in last ep was because of seniority, & there were lots of veteran entertainers that younger cast could not easily vibe to.

That was the only thing I loved this season, if they bring this duo back next season it will be worth watching

Dex & Sungjae chemistry was the highlight of this season for me, cause unlike S01 the bond this season was very weak between the characters.

Dex restrictions was obvious, it was so scripted with highlights being given to new cast, I didn't like how they neglected Dex's capabilities cause many might have expected his action scenes like in S01 but the script really held him & his potential back. Like he would step forward to help but be pushed behind to let others do their scenes like on that bridge.

I will share bit about his life & career

Since kid he always did what he liked so after high school he didn’t apply for university as he didn’t like studying & decided to complete military service. He was good at swimming so he wanted to challenge himself & joined UDU, during ‘Hell training’ it was so hard he decided to give it up & was on the way to Seoul when he almost got sold near northern border, but thankfully he was able to ran away. Through his UDU senior he got job as swimming instructor but he got scammed of his rent deposit. He wanted to provide for himself & didn’t want to burden his parents financially so he never asked for their help. He was so broke he slept many months in boiler room at swimming pool facility he worked at, & had to drink 2 bottles of soju everyday so he could pass out & sleep in that noisy room. He didn’t had any friends at that time & was very lonely so he even considered su1cide. As life was already hard he decided to complete his UDU & later joined UDT training & excelled at it & even joined elite Akh special mission unit & was the youngest there. After UDT he wanted to be content creator, as he wanted to live his life the way he want. He was broke & his streaming site had 0-2 viewers but he didn’t give up. His studio was his grandma’s house & a room that he painted green for cg. He was broke for years & in this hardship joined other UDT vloggers & joined popular YouTube military show Fake Man S2, he went viral for swearing & his raw image as a military instructor but since he was warm & gave good advice he was well loved, after that he did Love & Joy dating show & Bloody Game S1 before finally doing Single’s Inferno S2 that made him famous. No, he always had that side in him. He is an introvert & quiet most times but when gets close with people he gets more merrier & starts joking around. He is very loud & funny around his friends & family, & since he has become more comfortable onscreen & grown closer with cast we get to see more of that side to him. Though he leans more towards being quiet & occasionally gets energetic around friends. All these is evident in his youtube vlogs/streaming done with others way before he became famous, his old video dates back to 2019, & watching all that you will realize he is same as he is onscreen. He is honest, considerate, humble, kind, & has great empathy. He is also not a playboy & is actually very conservative & has very less dating experience.

After casually watching Dex Interview Ep 5 with little child actress Oh Jiyul, I rediscovered him. I had watched Dex previously in Bloody Game S1 & Singles Inferno 2 but wasn’t a fan but after watching this ep & realizing he was very kind & considerate person, I grew fond of him & watched other eps of Dex Interview & enjoyed them all, now I have watched all of his shows, yt content & even vlog & streams with other content creators. I realized the more I watch him the more I discover how good of a person he is, he is very polite, non judgmental, considerate, kind & very respectful to child, woman, elderly. Also he has been through a a lot of hardships in life but he still remains positive. There are lots of ppl he knew before becoming famous & everybody always had good impression of him & many has shared stories where he was very considerate or touched their heart with his sweet actions, there was never any scandal.

I realized the more I watch him the more I discover how good of a person he is, he is very polite, non judgmental, considerate, kind & very respectful to others. I really loved the drama and it was sad and moving. I wish though that they at least mentioned about the workers inside the plant and outside that were exposed to extreme level of radiation. What happened to them. In first few episodes the effects of extreme radiation exposure on skin and life was shown from Cherynobyl case. I wish they stressed more on its impact on the workers in the power plant and the life lost. I loved the drama as it was based on true story and wanted to learn more about effects of radiation on people but sadly this drama failed in that regard and I am a little disappointed because all those people who stayed back to help deserves to be remembered and their sufferings and lives lost should have been addressed. I tried to find more info on wiki but was shocked to see only 1 dead being listed as direct result of radiation, and it was mentioned as due to cancer. Rest 2000 were listed as result of evacuation. It’s hard to believe those states, when so many workers were exposed to extreme high levels of radiations, I really wanna know what happened to them, because they all fought bravely.

Happy ending is still in production and might release in beginning or mid of next year, for Wuju Bakery, 2nd cp appeared in Korean variety show and showed few scenes from Wuju Bakery and said it will be released sometime in October, hope that happens but Hanyan has not made any official announcements yet
