Totally agree ! This became suddenly heavily boring to me after episode 8 !
for me it was episode 6 😭 I had such big hopes and was so invested and then boom it just went to the bin :(

what year does the drama take place? do they ever reveal it? i watched this a while ago but i cant remember!!
I think it takes place at the same year the drama was shot? 2018? I'm not sure doe but I remember it wasn't futuristic or set in the distant future or something like that. I think they revealed it in some episode on a poster in the background and it said either 2018 or 2019??

In my opinion romance is pretty much 90% of the show, so if you are here more for the Sci-Fi aspect then I don't think it's for you because by what you said romance ruins it for you.
The only sci Fi aspect in the show is the robot character tbh 😅
