I picked up Princess Agents because of the Chinese world record it holds, as the 2nd most streamed Chinese series of all time with over 48 billion streams after Yang Mi's Eternal Love with its over 55 billion streams.
When I got into the drama, I found out why it's that popular.
The series opened strongly. Its pilot episode pulled me in, and I knew I was in for the entire drama.
The cast, both the good players and the bad/evil ones, were stellar in their delivery.
Liying did very well, though at many points in the drama, it's easy to occasionally dislike her character and feel less empathy and pull for her because of how cunning and how mean she'd become through the story arcs.
But then, I'd recommend this series.
It ended on a terrible cliffhanger which portends a potential season 2. But I'm not sure we'll get it because of the copyright issues flying around it.
I'm genuinely curious, so I have an honest question for Asian (read: Chinese) viewers: how on earth did this series sneak past Chinese censorship? I mean, I checked and it's boldly listed as a Chinese drama.
Addicted was aggressively yanked and the two main cast BANNED from ever appearing together in public or doing anything together.
A year later and Advance Bravely is banned even BEFORE it aired.
Capture Lover aired in 2020 and it's on air? From China???? Someone explain this to me.
Hey guys, I saw this drama on a Playlist on YouTube and I watched through the first 7 episodes which were available for viewing. Thereafter, episodes 8 to 36 are "unavailable".
Does anyone know how I can watch this on YouTube? Or they aren't there?

Jason is very handsome, but doesn't seem to enjoy much popularity neither does he seem to be doing dramas. His filmography is scanty. Love his work, though.
Can't wait!
