I don't like Thai dramas bc the overacting and childish behaviour kills me but somehow I was hopeful bc I havent seen much lesbian dramas. OMG this is amazing! Till the last scene almost nothing happened and yet the tension O.O Seriously the acting of the older FL... It could be about anything, a cooking drama or snail watching drama and yet I would be entertained just watching her *.* The younger FL when she's older and has better clothing looks stunning too. Very believable. But why had the older had to hurt so much the other? I know age doesnt matter and we all can be a little immature but the second before last argument was so cold.
I think revenge plots are my favourite in kdramas xD But also so many unexplained things and missed opportunities for actors to shine more. We never got a reveal for Jun Kyoung that Ari is dead and also that Ari might be alive. I wanted this so bad only for the purpose to see actors talent bc i was mesmerized about his ability to convey emotions so quickly and clearly as he did during the kiss scene. He was focused on reading Aris emotions then in a second he was shocked but then the feeling and determination changed his face i was so excited to see more for him but we didnt get that. I would also love to see aftermath for every celebrity at the end. After some time not like during which we got. Did Angela became a full on prostitute? And what with the others? Some quickly decreasing followers numbers and maybe their occupations afterwards would be amazing.
What also bugs me the most is we never saw why/how Aris family bancrupted, we didnt get answers for her "uncle" and mothers behaviour. They just were like that without us knowing the full story. Also why Ari hated on Jun Kyoung that much at the beginning, even if its for his money and being treated like royalty we dont know WHY she hates that kind of behaviour. I was constantly thinking that it had to be bc how ppl treated her after her family's downfall. Why Jun Kyoung hated drugs so much that he was disgusted with Ari just being next to the drugs? So many questions.
I understand Aris decision at the end but I would love for her to maybe use her channel to help others, maybe to talk about honesty, loyality and anti hater stuff. Naive... but would be very hopeful.
I didnt read the manga, I didnt ship anyone with anyone. But still I like s1 more. Also the finale os s1 was way more thrilling. Almost skipped the entire of the last game. It doesn't feel like an end so its weird to see everyone saying it is a closed ending. Hello! The Joker card? Also, why doesn't anyone question how the f Queen of Hearts is the last game? It wasn't revealed as being the last, anyone could enter at any minute and there werent any bodies. Also we had King of Hearts so why would this game make me feel it would be harder? It was hard only bc Arisu was such a depressive character. It was his third time in the show to not have a sense of living and wanting to die. I stopped caring at the second time so why the third? I also lowkey was happy at the pause when they came back to real world and the meteor hit. I was wishing this was the end. It would be so original and final. Maybe I'm too sadistic xD All the games in S1 gave me more thrill than in this, tho I really had respect for the citizens in the first game. Sorry they had to go. And as always, the best games are the games with Chishiya. He should be the main, tho the games would end more quickly and we wouldnt have a show xD
Also, I really liked the first lie of Queen of Hearts, that they live in the future where ppl are living infinitely and lost sense of living. That would be a nice concept. For the ultimate VR game.
Can someone tell me the title of the music in the last minutes of the last ep when Ml and FL were fighting? Shazam didnt find anything so idk if it's just some melody without title.
I saw some scenes and immediately turned any notifications off, thought it would be another Thai Bl, heavy with sexual scenes. I don't have anything against such dramas, I watched them when I feel like it. I started watching 180 degrees bc I felt like I needed sth like that. But after 1st episode I already knew it isn't that. ut then Ive found myself at the end of 3rd episode and I was mesmerized. Almost all scenes are in two or three rooms of one home, the rest are on the outside of the house. The drama consists of long dialogue scenes and silent staring in the distance but I couldn't bring myself to turn it off or even skip the scenes with the mother whom I still hate. There are couple of scenes where the acting made me so immersed I was gasping and covering my eyes to not see the immense hurt of the characters. And I'm not a person who entertains herself watching sad dramas or even sad scenes in their entirety. I wish I knew it isn't a happy ending but then I wouldn't have watch it as I never do dramas I know will be sad. It just isn't for me. And I'm also conflicted bc ok, I got the message at the end (the subtitles) but it really made me angry for watching it bc 8 eps all having 45 min and it came a full circle, characters was exactly the same as they were at the beginning. Maybe Wang was slightly different but I don't really think so, he was just true to himself the whole time so really I don't see a change in him as well. Which is infuriating, at least I wanted for the mother to acknowledge ANYTHING bc she is the worst and I couldn't stand her. I think it was beautifully made but without a point. They had to spell it out bc the plot wasn't made for understanding it this way. I learn more seeing a change in a character, owning their mistakes and make different decisions, not going full circle and starting again.
It was the best of all Korean dating shows for me. They had activities, forced to know pretty much everyone not only the chosen ones from the beginning. They were forced to be honest about the things that are important. Even tho I think a week is so short they made so many decision and I saw so much growth it's crazy. I didn't like Jihyun from the beginning, her choices didn't make sense as Nayeon did even tho I know they both just wanted to see themselves with everyone before making a choice. I think Sungjae liked Nayeon to the end bc at the last night (even tho he previously said he doesn't feel anything for her now) he looked pissed he was with her and he said he could be with anyone BUT HER. If you had no feeling toward somebody you wouldn't be fazed with it but he clearly was. So his choice was out of convinience. I was pissed at Hoseok too, he had NO chemistry with Juyeon but still after coming back he claerly said he came for her, to choose someone who clearly confessed to him and yet he went with someone who declined two times already. And I cannot believe Juyeon was shocked by it, he clearly chose Jihyun while having Juyeon in his room and she still wanted him?! The only minus for the show was bringing Timothee so late and thus making it uneven. Idk why Korean dating shows are so adamant to bring new people late I could see the advantages to bring a little chaos at the end but every sow I watched had this and its unfair.
