These are some recommendations i saved to watch later, it doesn't say much about the plot but you can choose one and look for comments with or without spoilers and decide what to watch based on that

I also think they had chemistry outside the kissing scenes, but the kissing felt forced. I don't remember much, so i dont know if they ever had a "consensual" kiss

I cannot say much about YAMG, because i didn't finish watching yet, but i do think some c-dramas are too long and because of that feels draggy. When i watched Love o2o, it had just finish airing, and it was the first c-drama i've watched, but there were so many things i didn't like and almost made me gave up c-dramas.
The acting of the FL was horrible, and her hair/wig too, can't blame the actress cause haven't see another drama with her... cough cough

The lack of chemistry in the kissing scenes, sometimes it felt like ML was forcing a kiss on the FL, it was a no good for me
The relationship of Er Xi and the 2nd ML, felt kinda abusive
I didn't remember much of the friendship, but i do remember one of the friends simp over Xiao Nai and forgeting she had a boyfriend
The only thing i genuinely loved was the "brothers-in-law", they were funny and adorable, I loved the interactions between them and the FL/ML

Ps: Its been a long time since i watched so this are the things i remember most, not gonna watch Love o2o again

I love when an actor plays a role opposite/different of what we usually see him/her play. I've watched mostly k-dramas, but there are less and less K-drama that caught my attention. So I decided to see new dramas. I've been watching japanese, chinese and thai too. And I must say China it's on fire this year.

Please give this drama a chance, just watch the episode like any other drama and forget about Cherry Magic ship. This drama isn't BL, so just because the same actors are here doesn't mean they will be a couple. If you miss Kurodachi couple please rewatch CM, just don't give this drama low rating cause your favorite are not gonna be together.

NGL I wanted to watch because of the actors of cherry magic, I liked them, so I wanted to see them in other dramas. I'm not a big fan of j-drama because sometimes the acting feels cringe and forced to me. But after seeing a few japanese dramas this year, it made me give other chance. I was not hopping there would be romance between the male actors, I am watching because when I like a actor/actress i look for his/her other works, and watch just the ones I get curious about. That's it.
But it's sad that people give this drama low rating just because it's not BL 😣

Achei o filme chato e frustrante nos primeiros 30 minutos, tanto que vi o resto 2x mais rápido pq achei a protagonista chata e sem carisma

I think people thought it was BL, and didn't like that the Kurodachi couple it's not gonna happen again in this drama

I feel the same way about The King, the drama had a good start but halfway went downhill. But it was very popular overseas and I don't understand why. The amount of product placement made me uncomfortable 😣

I watched this drama just because it showed on my Netflix account years ago, i wasn't expecting much, but I loved. I didn't know any of the main actors but it was so good. I super agree with you about some ratings in MDL, most of people who writes the reviews almost never makes a review pointing it's flaws, it's usually about how good the drama is, that you should watch, you won't be disappointed, etc. I love to read honest reviews like yours.

Concordo, esse drama foi uma decepção para mim igual a coffee and vanilla. Não gostei dos personagens e da história muito menos.

The main characters actually talk, no unnecessary jealous scene where they grab the other's hand. He did hide his disease, but at that time he was ready to die. It was to see his perspective of life changing through the drama. Jun Ho and Jin Ah killed their performances.

It was the first drama that I hated the 2nd male lead, especially the scene where she rides the elevator.

I like cliche, when it's done right. I think this drama did well most of the time.
I agree with your point of view. I love to read reviews about a drama that is honest. NGL I only watched this drama cause of my Jun Ho, I was a 2pm fan since 2016 and I loved him as a villain/antihero in Chief Kim/Good Manager so I wanted to see him in a melodrama. And he did great, it was one of my favorites dramas in 2017, I loved the cast too.
