This is a 40-episode drama. Without watching how can you say how this drama goes. You haven't even asked for spoilers.
This is a wonderful drama. I'm also not into too much slowburn dramas. But this is not that. Very entertaining. Around 16 or 17 they started to get together for real. Ofcourse they liked each other in some earlier episodes.
I don't know why you said those things without even knowing what's happening in the drama.

I rewatched this a few times already. Never get bored of this drama. A Beautiful drama. Leads have a very healthy relationship. Loved this drama.

"New Life Begins" is also a good drama. Same ML. That's also a good drama.

Who is the mother of ML's father? (king Rui) Is it Empress Dowager or some other concubine or consort of Previous emperor?

The BGM here reminds me of another drama, but I can’t quite pinpoint or remember where I’ve heard it before. It’s not just the background music, but also from small part of the title song. Not the whole music but only about 2 or 3 seconds of it. I feel like it’s from a historical, wuxia, or xianxia drama.
If anyone has the same thought and knows which drama it’s from, please let me know.

This drama has one of my favorite parts. That is where leads are together without any misunderstandings from the start. OfCourse not from the starting episodes but very early. They are enemies at the beginning. The fight scene between them is like hell. OMG. But they turned from enemies to lovers and very slowly and beautifully.
Thanks to the writer for writing such a beautiful drama. I like dramas where the leads are together no matter what happens. ❤️❤️❤️ 10/10 (10/10 for each and all episodes)
