it wasn't perfect, very far from it but I enjoyed watching this drama. I loved the outfits and the 80s Japanese style this drama had. The opening song was soo catchy. I love it. After watching a drama like Oshin I was glad I could find a drama that is easier to watch.

hated the ending... Yuichiro's wife (hope I'm spelling it right) killed him and she remains free... I just hated it. couldn't they give us a better ending?
I am so disappointed after watching this drama, at first it seemed to be a sweet drama about a family and the struggles they faced but goodness no, not at all. The romance wasn't between Kahori and the male lead, it was between the male lead and the little girl!!! it is so sick to think about, they ended up together, someone who saw the little girl growing and who was like her father! The first 6 episodes were excellent if I had to rate them definitely 10/10 but I honestly wasn't expecting that ending, it was terrible and sick to say the least, it was disgusting, I definitely wasn't expecting that at all.

You couldn't have said it better!! it was so disappointing to watch this drama, I really thought the romance was between Kahori and the male lead I would never have guessed that the romance was between the male lead and the little girl! I'm not going to lie, the first 6 episodes were excellent, they were all together as a family and I saw them as a family but what ended up happening left me speechless, the story was very good before, but the last episodes really ruined this drama, it is so creepy to think that someone who saw the little girl growing ended up with her. what else should I say, this is so disappointing.
I only found the first 40 minutes of the movie available on YouTube, but I really didn't want to find the rest of the movie.
The main plot wasn't bad I actually liked it, the problem comes when you're watching these unrelated scenes that don't have anything that don't have anything to do with the movie itself especially that oyster catcher scene, that was gross to watch since the girl seems very very young and ends up kissing a guy who could be her grandfather, and that couple sharing a yolk in their mouth... It was hard to watch and disgusting.
I would have loved the movie if they didn't have to add these unnecessary and disgusting scenes that are not really part of the main plot but this is only my opinion so this is not really a family friendly option.
