i do agree i'd probably find it a teeny bit suffocating irl. however i do think this was incorporated quite well in the drama to show how this is ML's (and FL's) first relationship and how his feelings for her are so strong that he just wants to take care of everything for her A-Z, even to the point where it comes across a bit overbearing sometimes. i'm sure he would have no problem toning it down if she were to actually dislike it and tells him, but in this case she seems to be quite accepting and happy about it, so allg haha!!

they probably know each other n are 'childhood friends' bc her brother trains him, i dont think theyre friends personally. theyve never dated but i think it's known that hes always had a crush on her. so yes ML is her first boyfriend :-)
